Hi Jeff, this is Marlon from NJ. Just got back from visiting Mobile 😀. Thanks for your videos, gave me a good foundation for my visit. I went to Kravers, two thumbs! I have to say, I was SOLD when I tried Foosackleys; delicious and a must try! Midtown is such a great neighborhood/section. In regards to weather, it was so funny how bipolar it was, especially driving 😂. All in all you do get your fair share of sunshine and humidity was bearable. Overall we were so pleased with our visit and look forward to going back.
Really need advice, may be transferring to a job in the Florence AL area from FLA, I know you're the "Mobile" guy but any advice would be awesome. Thanks y'all! :)
We get about 100 inches per year in the rain forest in Hawaii. Just across the hwy it increases to 200-300 inches per year depending on elevation. This is what creates all those spectacular waterfalls. I think we could handle 65 to 69 inches per year in Mobile. No problem!
@@brianhall9617 all I’ve heard lately are great things about the job market. It’s hard to know about specific careers, but with airbus, Austal, the steel mill up north, lots of opportunity available.
MY FAMILY AND I WERE RAISED IN THE MOBILE AREA (SATSUMA), AND WHEN WE GOT OLDER AND FOUND BEAUTIFUL MONTANA, THE LORD OPENED UP THE DOORS WIDE FOR US TO GET THE HECK OUT OF THERE SEVERAL YEARS AGO, AND WE'VE NEVER LOOKED BACK! TO EACH HIS OWN WHAT HE CHOOSES TO DO IN THIS LIFE,BUT WE'RE THANKFUL THE LORD LED US OUT OF THERE! ANOTHER SURPRISE OVER THE RECENT YEARS, THE LORD HAS ALSO OPENED THE DOORS FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO MOVE OUT OF MOBILE AND OTHER PLACES IN ALABAMA TO MOVE RIGHT HERE IN BEAUTIFUL FLATHEAD VALLEY OUTSIDE OF GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. IT'S REALLY A MIRACLE! 7/5/21
I hear B1 repels insects. Back in 2006, my parents were visiting friends in Mobile. They stayed at some RV park north of Mobile. They said there was a huge gator there.
I’ve lived in the suburbs my entire life and I’ve never had a confrontation with a snake. I know several of my friends have, but for myself, I may have seen one that was a foot-long but other than that, that’s it. Now, I wear snake boots when I’m out showing land for a very good reason. Several of my realtor friends have seen snakes in raw land.
Yep! That huge English Tudor from Jeff’s earlier videos was my childhood home. We ran across a few snakes when clearing the lot. The neighbor to the east of us had one in their kitchen when we lived there. The huge Creole Cottage 2 doors down to the west had plenty of snakes. I remember when the owner ran over a snake in her driveway. She wanted to make sure it was dead, so she ran over it a few times to make sure! LOL But to be fair, our properties backed up to woods with a creek running through it.
Of course I am biased, but we raised both of our girls here and I’ve lived here our entire life. Honestly, that’s one of the reasons I’ve always wanted to stay.
@@livinginmobile Awesome, I want to fly out there later this year and see Mobile and hopefully get to talking business with you. Thank you for all your videos. I feel like I’m already in love with Mobile Alabama!
What question do you have about Mobile?
What are some of the best schools on Mobile?

Yes, it is. It's really cool inside.
I lived in Mobile during hurricane Fredy. I've been thinking of moving back.
Well, we know how old you are, LOL. I’ll never forget that hurricane!

If hurricanes and tornados were a huge problem there would not be so many historic homes. I love Mobile!

Come on!!!
Are you blood type O? i am and get lots of mosquitos chewing on me. LOL
Now that you asked, I actually don’t know. That’s probably something I need to find out, LOL

Very disrespectful of you to put your foot on even a Bible statue/bench.
Would you say he ‘violated’ it?
