- Howdy gamers. I found a good lobby so I grabbed the Rogue to get some dogfighting in. As expected, I ended up fighting a lot of Raiju players.

Normally I do like to check if someone’s hostile before I attack, but this isn’t practical with the Raiju. When they’re able to outrun you then sneak up on you and disable your aircraft in a second, any missed opportunity to eliminate the threat has a very good chance to bite you in the butt later.
This is why I didn’t attack the B-11 first, because I didn’t perceive him as hostile until he attempted to line his nose up with me, then I engaged. Had it been a Raiju, he wouldn’t even be on the map for me to see him lining up on me before it’s too late. I hate attacking first but I hope you get what I mean here.
And at the end of the day, anybody in a weaponized aircraft in a public lobby needs to understand there’s a high likelihood they’ll be attacked.

The introduction of the Raiju into GTA Online has sort of forced everyone into developing a higher sense of awareness or like... hearing in general
Ive always been able to hear multiple jets at a time. It comes in very hand when someone is off radar or in stealth mode in the Raiju.
I’ve actually started looking for the blinking lights on Raiju’s just to see where they are in stealth mode. So you could say that
Tbh it’s so loud that it doesn’t matter if I concentrate. I just hear a loud sound and what do you know, being stalked by one about half of LS City away

The armor feels super inconsistent on the Raiju. Sometimes it tanks explosives like its a b11, and sometimes it blows up on one shot
I recall many times shotting them down with 2 e-rounds, maybe they don’t put armor on it but wtf...
With the Raiju you have a higher chance of damaging the controls than any other jet, sometimes just one explo bullet can take it down if you aim closer to the afterburner

Rogue has definitely become a top tier jet after the hydra and lazer nerfs especially since it’s a lot better at killing ground targets
That’s so cope when the raiju is better at dogfighting, is faster, accelerates faster, has vtol to improve its dogfighting even further, has stealth mode, and is immune to most bullet weapons.

I’m a dedicated Pyro pilot now but the Rouge was my first and I still take it out from time to time. Great bang for your buck and I humiliated jets costing 4 times as much with it.

Ngl, the Raiju pilots in the video don’t understand that stealth mode can’t really save you when you’re low & have a loud jet engine on the back on your aircraft😂, great video 👍🏼
When you’re low? Dude I easily lose enemies because they don’t have the speed nor maneuverability (unless they actually practice) in short terms the jet is great against people who suck

What Raiju pilots fail to understand about Rouge and B-11 pilots. Is that our planes are too slow for you to use those fancy Kvochur bell and VTOL manuvers.
We cant blow by you because we have yet to catch up. Our munitions will get there first though. Their best bet is to out run us and re-engage.😂

Yup. Those guys are the inspiration behind half the Geneva Convention and all that. Dropping surrendering/wounded enemies, baiting them with food for weeks only to swap rations for hand grenades, taking over towns, getting pissed off by the locals, kicking em out and burning down the town... The list goes on.
Canucks bottle up all their rage and aggression for hockey, and war and then let it out like the Death Star super laser. When in doubt, send the Canucks. Bloody savages.

Rogue is such a small and tremendously fun plane to fly
Most fighters have there throttle to the max when turning, it's easy to kill once you lock on, it'll cause them to bank left or right, then switch to cannons for the kill, simple

Every time I see a jet flying around I send them a in game text “wanna dogfight?” And of yes then I pull out a rogue. if no, then I do missions.
I love to really make em rethink their overconfidence when they try to attack my rogue "I heard you six miles ago, and despite the music I'm listening to you, im gonna do a flatspin corkscrew, end up behind you somehow and snatch your tail away and make you do flips till you crash"
A skilled Raiju pilot knows how use the hover mode to their advantage and the stealth mode.

You dont even need VTOL alot of the time. As long as you manage speed and are good at maneuvering you can take on literally anything in the Raiju. Ive shot down Pyros, B-11s, Starlings, Rogues... even other Raijus, simply because they cant manage speed or maneuver properly.

I killed one in a molotok the other day, I could have sworn the raiju has a better turn rate than that thing
I cockpit sniped a few in the molotok only coz they were bad pilots try it with a skilled pilot and he bum touched me 😂

The Rogue is my Go-To Dogfighter.
The missiles exist to scare people by making their RWR start screaming. And then once they have to Defend you can get the nose on them and kill them EZ.
And when that doesnt work I use the Starling and go as slow as Physically possible to force Overshoots. And then spam infinite missiles.
EVERYONE EVENTUALLY makes a mistake.
Just got a rogue today for the first time and it’s instantly become my new favorite plane to get in dogfights with

What’s your preferred handling setting on the rogue?
I am attempting to get better at dogfighting in general, but I did get the Raiju because I'm an F-35 fanboy.
That said, I like to swoop in on trolls and defend MC or CEO goods convoys. Help out wherever.
Oh hell yeah, being that random dude that shows up to escort with no stake in the game is the best, especially when you successfully defend them.
In a game full of trolls and griefers, it's nice to be helpful without any direct reward(cash, RP, etc)

I've had several rogues try to take me out in a Raiju, and all failed miserably.. I was able to just basically troll them and dunk on them while they were attacking me..
Damn that's crazy. I've had several raijus blow themselves up or ewo just to avoid my nokota

I had a nakota try to attack me, but I didn't notice until I went VTOL and let it fly past, and realized it was shooting at me.. then it chased me, and I lost it by juking and going off radar.. then I shadowed it for a bit from above, and tried to dive past it to scare it, but I was too close and I bumped it and it exploded lol..

@@JohnDoe-ligma does the nakota have some super good tracking missiles or something? It's pretty easy to dodge missiles with the Raiju in VTOL.. and even if it does get hit, it takes 3 *to blow it up..
@@cjperry2731 they're better than the standard. And one missile is all it takes to slow the jet down. Once it starts smoking the jet starts to malfunction. Which makes it super easy to get more locks and the missiles to catch up. Not to mention the nokota has four guns instead of two.

Did they nerf the guns on the Rogue like all the other fighter jets with explosive cannons? Haven't flown that plane in quite a while. I always had difficulty with the handling of that plane. Nice flying here, as always 👍
The Rogue has been left as is. If anything, it is relatively stronger now that the Lazer and the Hydra have gotten nerfed.
Rogue hasn’t had any changes to it.

New jet needs mk2 missiles to combat the Opressor but it's they made it completely useless
so the hydra and lazer got nerfed to make the f 160 look even better, this is how rockstar is
You know that the lazer is still a very good jet and the hydra was not used because its not good in dogfight situation
The lazer and hydra still have the best explosive cannons of any jet...

I'm sorry but if you lose to a Rogue in a jet you're beyond being a simple noob at the game, you're a npc. Deeply embarassing. Even the Seabreeze is better than the Rogue.
Any dog fighter, any good pilot for that matter, knows the plane matters a whole lot less than the pilot flying it. If you're a crappy pilot, no jet gives you a free win.

I've won several times against Raiju's in my Rogue. Too over confident against a prop plane. I've also lost to them too, but they have to fight long and hard for that kill.
