Jack’s respect for Dan traces thru all these videos, and you can hear Dan’s influence in Jack’s delightful and playful riffs using thirds. Videos like this are a blessing. I play for my church and have spent hours listening to Jack and Dan in an attempt to land some of their magic into my playing across the pond. You two are sincerely appreciated.
Jack is so much more relaxed when he is just talking music and playing technicalities. I know Andertons has to 'sell product' - they are a shop that's what they do, but in many ways these vids are more entertaining and much more educational. Which of course is reflected in the overall love for Andertons.
Firstly - Just Beautiful. Jack, as ever self deprecating and underplaying your skills, Dan - breath taking. How refreshing to have two guys so passionate about their instruments, finding ways to server the song and be so connected with their instrument they can look away and get lost in the beauty of colours, shades, tones, contrasts. Secondly - More of this stuff please, can't get enough. This is what makes Andertons MORE than a shop. Its the extended community of quality musicians sharing ideas and encouraging practise through soulful and masterful playing. Thank you.
Great video. Dan has a beautiful touch and a fantastic ear and it was fascinating to hear about his approach to playing. I really appreciate the effort in the onscreen keyboard and chord breakdowns too. Great stuff!
I love this video. Not only educational and interesting to watch and listen to Jack and Dan, but the beauty of the sound of the Nord Stage 4 just grabs me every time I hear it. Hope to be able to get one in the near future. Simply stunning instrument. ❤🎹🎶❤️
Really Enjoyed this. Definitely more please! Great "What rya thinkin of " questions from Jack. Here is a magical chord to add before the "mental thing you can do in C" (Eb, Db7, C) try a (ii) D half diminished (D, F, Ab, C). A D half dim subvs great for a V too - very ethereal.
This was super educationaö and helpful video for me as a beginner pianist. This will sell more gear than any of the product review videos. Such a great discussion. Please more of this kind!
It feels like a decent educational conversational flow you have, Jack. It feels good. :) 3:46 _"It seems quite open-ended: C, F, G - oh, there's loads of ways we can play that! But, coming up with your own rules, you said 'let's keep C on top.' Can you do the same with another note on top?"_ The conversation mate Dan affirms this, and then we lead into an example. Nice work with the on-screen MIDI keyboard visual.
killer ears on this lad, an endless fountain of creativity, should be in Nashville along side players like Matt Rollings and Ryan Adams. But about the Nord, how is the stage 4 keybed compared to the Stage 3 in your opinion? is it worth the upgrade for the keybed alone?
This what these kid producers should focus on. Instead of loops and basic trap beats. YOU HAVE TO KNOW SCALES, INVERSIONS AND DIATONIC HARMONY. No wonder songs on the radio are horrible nowadays. They download FL and think they’re producers.
Also feel there's a lack of key modulation in modern production which requires theory. Tools like Scaler are reinventing the concepts but its too easy to not use them
It is about C-F-G and then he plays 50 special cords in a few seconds with ease. If this is for professional musicians, then just say it. I will not be able to play this, even if I practiced the rest of my life.
I agree with@erickhaynie . I love seeing what to get for myself and volunteers under me , so I respect all the classical pianists, really I do but what Jack, Dan and Mike do is magical!!! Music just becomes something else with a deeper story of its own. I second @erickhaynie as much as it's Jack's job to sell synths and stuff this what they do, is so good! It would boost the overall channel's subscription numbers. They should keep this up. I'm really hoping to learn a thing or two from these three men. Though Jack says he's not a classical pianist , the way he plays its just so good, from the heart. Keep it up guys!
Ok, Dan Bingham piano tutorials? I’m ALL IN!!👏🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥
Seconded
Thirded
This guy, jack and Mike Patrick = Stunning.

couldn't agree more, I admire their "feel"
Clearly having a John Mayer vinyl in the background instantly makes anything better! :)

Even if the product is garbage, they still need to pawn it off on the gullible.
It's better also because you can see applications of the product instead of flipping through patches and settings, which you need for a demo.👍
Snake oil salesmen.
@@steroidsR4losers How is music gear snake oil?
Product is garbage.
We always love jack and d bingerz
Really enjoyed listening to this - musicians thinking out loud with (relatively ?) no script/rehearsal. Could happily listen to more !
Defo 1st inversion on the c ...........2nd inversion would be g c e...........
Lovely playing .......
Could listen for hours

Inspirational Dan - more like this please. ❤

Nice work with the on-screen MIDI keyboard visual.
Watching you guys inspires me and motivates me to do more intense practice every day. I would love to play like that one day and enjoy my melodies.
Thank you!
Beau'iful
Anderton's needs to start a new channel, 'In the Mind of...'. I would subscribe to that. This was super useful and I'm not even a pianist.
So awesome. Dan is a master 🔥🎹🙏
Great video lots of cool bits.
Thanks guys, this gave me lots of ideas.
This is phenomenal.
D. Bingaz is a legit monster.
Very interesting and inspirational. Thank you! ❤ make more videos like this!
This is great, more like this, please!
Hello from Santa Cruz, CA...nice T-Shirt!
This was great. Super informative and inspirational! Thanks!
Brilliant
I thought that was "in the jungle the mighty jungle" melody

PLEASE call DAN AGAIN and ask him to play the progression for at least three minutes. He seems to be a good story teller with his fingers
Patagonia, Santa Cruz ? Muy Argentino.
Ok.
Greetings from Madrid.
Inversions, Extensions and Alterations
God bless DBingham
In the Jungle the mighty jungle...
Why was A blushing? ..because it looked back and saw C F'n G!
@10:43 just a 7-3-6 gospel progression

So who has won the 100k sub competition?
F is the “avoid note” in C, try F# instead.
C eFfin’ and Geein’ 😂
Can we get some polite Mike tutorials please ???😅
For me, this is like watching people do high level calculus. My brain just don't get it.
It might help if they could finish a complete sentence
Can we discuss the emotional pull of the circle of fifths for 20 minutes without actually saying "circle of fifths?" Yep
It is about C-F-G and then he plays 50 special cords in a few seconds with ease. If this is for professional musicians, then just say it. I will not be able to play this, even if I practiced the rest of my life.
You’re just not motivated enough
The Nord is cosmic, the chords suck
I checked your channel and couldn’t find you providing a better example…

I always look for a link to Dan's music in the description and never find anything. Nothing on Google either
