I love how someone asks a question on a Studio One Facebook group and within an hour or so Lukas has produced and posted a video which provides the answer. Great work Lukas.
Haha. Thank you 😎
Awesome, thanks Lukas. This is very handy indeed 👋👋👋
This is very useful, thanks.
Great tip, was just wondering about this this morning!
Cool - I did not know that. That will be very useful!
GOOD INFO TANK YOU.
That was super helpful, thank you!
I'm glad you find it helpful, thank you!
Lukas, I have a question whenever you may have time. I made up my own Kit in Impact XT from other Kits, a little bit from 2 or 3 kits. I grabbed the Snare and Bass Drum from 60s a GoGo. That kit was made up in Ver 5.5.2 I made this up on my laptop in the house (which is to old now for version 6).I saved it to a new name put the tune / song file on a flash drive and took it out to my Man Cave where I do have version 6.
Song all loaded up except for Impact XT states missing samples (all 12 of them) i got to looking and I dont see 60s A Go GO on version 6 so, I am wondering how to go about getting them samples loaded. I dont want to mess things up. I am sure it is likely simple, i hope. If not I can find some other samples in Ver 6 bounce to audio then bring into Tracker in Superior drummer. I don't have superior 3 on Laptop or i would have went that way in the first place. I did want to get into Impact and the Pattern Mode a little more as i have not much, to put it simply. Now, its more of a matter of can It be done?
Appreciate if you can help whenever you can. Thank you
Hi Lucas this is greate but my system doesn't show sounds
Thank you! What sounds do you mean that aren't shown?
Thank you! Is there a way to drag one of these sample sounds onto the track and multiply it to make a pattern, rather than dragging it in multiple times?
Sure, with the D shortcut you can duplicate the events.
Great, thanks!

Hey guys, do you know why IMPACT XT will not let me overdub? For example, if I record kick and snare in one go, it will allow it, but if I record a kick stop the session and then try to record snare record over the kick. And I don’t hear the kik at all. Can someone please help. I hope my explanation makes sense. Thank you.
Impact XT has nothing to do with overdub or replace. That's a MIDI recording setting and you can change that if you activate the Record Panel (View -> Record Panel) and disable the record mode "Replace" setting.
