- Contestants must discern which four four celebrities is giving the truthful function of an object. Three are lying and only one is telling the truth. Identical in format to another forgotten classic called "Oh My Word," only the celebrity panel is explaining functions of strange objects rather than defining strange words. Rod Serling visits the realm of reality from the Twilight Zone in order to host the first incarnation of this favorite panel show.

I remember this version of Liar's Club, and to see Rod Serling as a game show host, it's so amazing. It's unbelieveable that he didn't do more of these.
Is this an unseen Twilight Zone?
Kidding.
No, I remember The Liars' Club, but, I'd never seen Rod Serling host it.
Nice clip!
Not really a good joke because anyone who knows the original Zone knows it ended in 1964, and that it was not in color.
Interesting. I didn’t even know Rod Serling hosted any TV game show.
Anytime you see Rod Serling, you'd then know that you're, in The Twilight Zone!
That's what made Tutti fruity. . . Rod couldn't contain himself, LOL.
I kept waiting for Rod to introduce an episode of the Twilght Zone
GOOD GODS!!! Back in the day, what Bill Bixby is wearing was considered not just hip and cool, but fashionable as heck.
Betty White was drop-dead gorgeous back then! Wow!
Betty White is the only current survivor of the panelists, though Norm Crosby lived into his 90s, dying only last fall at age 93.
OMG BETTY WHITE!! She is so beautiful! Woooow!
I have to think this was an earlier episode -- the celebrities all have signatures in front of them, which are pretty hard to read.
I would think they changed them to the much-easier-to-read "plates" seen in the other episode (released as an extra on "The Twilight Zone: Season 1" DVD set).
I never saw the Serling version, pretty funny I don't think he stooped low at all. A lighter side of Serling is a rare find indeed, and Norm Crosby is always a hoot. Like this way better then the Larry Hovis version. Posting the whole show anytime soon?
This is REALLY offbeat, but fun!!! Did this run on ABC? Cool find, and I could see Rod Serling doing some sort of comic effort! Thank you for sharing this interesting tidbit!
Rod Serling kind of sounds like Kasey Kasim at the beginning
Reminds me of a similar bit on "This Old House"
This show must have not been done not inside of a Studio.....BECAUSE IT WAS DONE, IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE! Lol
The winner will receive a lovely prize, but the loser will have to enter (dramatic pause) The Twilight Zone.
Betty outlived 4packs/day Rod by about 45 years
what year was this?
not to embarrass you but your answer is in the title of the clip (1969)
thank you@@PREGO1966
Rod, did you have to stoop so low?? This the man who created TWILIGHT ZONE...
Incredible.
