That line into that breakdown... the way he screams it and the emotion behind it.... God damn, that just makes me want to lose it.
the two singles before "left behind" and "devide" are sooo good too, but they are all three very different

Oh The Plot In You.. I’m sorry this may be a long comment I’m very passionate about this band. So many gems from them over the years they’re one of my comfort bands I always come back to. Their vocalist Landon Tewers has a way with his screaming and singing of portraying all his pain that just hits for me. The album happiness in self destruction is a masterpiece start to finish, DISPOSE is overall softer musically I believe but lyrically heavy and Swan Song is amazing too. Landon actually does tons of solo work where he sings a ton but there is a phenomenally heavy 3 EP story he wrote and is still writing I think called Ai640 about a robot realizing it’s a slave and wants to become a god and erases humanity but finds and loses love, kind of like a lonely god. If you like the part where his screams are the only thing followed by just chunkiness there is more of that on those EP’s. He also recently did a feature with Darko US called Hybrid Process and I mean it’s Tom Barber it’s heavy lol
You mentioned like his scream having anguish in it or I always thought of it as pain but I see that too. He does that a lot in both his screaming and singing
That all being said if you want to check out more of them either for a reaction or to listen to I’d whole heartedly recommend some of my personal favorites and I also recommend having lyrics up because some really hit the feels hard

There is so many more just something about Landon’s lyrics speak to me. Again if anyone read this whole thing thank you and I’m sorry lol I’ve just followed them for a long time and easily one of my favorite bands. Also I'm unsure of how many albums of their own he's done it for but he produces all of their music himself as well which I think is pretty sweet
I'd honestly put in First Born and Could You Watch Your Children Burn as album recommendations too
@@Elegies22 Yeah for sure, I just listed a lot of the stuff I play regularly myself. First Born, Wife Beater, and CYWYCB are all great and I have favorites from each of them as well I just cut it shorter after seeing the essay I casually wrote somehow lol
