So I see some people saying this is Akaza that took Muzan’s hand during infinite castle instead of Koyuki’s, and become a demon that only cares about fight and murder (which the edit depicts). And I see people saying that it is just the Akaza before Infinite Castle Arc who trained himself for 1000 years. Well, my theory is that it accords to both cases here. From the original story, Akaza died after being a demon for around 300 years. That means for Akaza to live more than thousand years, he would have to survive the infinite castle arc. And the only way for him to survive is taking muzan’s hand instead of Koyuki’s and kill Giyu and Tangiro. During that process he threw away his last chance of salvation as human and becomes full control under Muzan. This will make him a mindless fighter who will do anything to become stronger. And my theory makes sense for both depiction in the edit and the title to coexist. Those two theory coexisting will make it easier to understand what type of Akaza this is.
