Yea I like the fit better as well
The leather feels soft to the touch but as I wear, it's so tough to the feet, feels like the shoes squeezes your feet with the extra padding too. Also the leather is still disappointed imo it creases A LOT just after one wear with the heavy plastic coating (I'm not the type of guy that afraid of creases I had more expectation after paying 170euros)
it helped me personally to get the insoles out of the 85 bro mostly on the 85 highs the insoles are strangely thick
but then its a bit uncomfy without the insole
I’m the same way sizing wise. It would make more sense for me to go up to 11.5 but my feet look big for my body 😂 Not only that but stock is always higher on size 11 so resale prices are cheaper. I pull the insoles out of my airships too 😅 suede shoes are more forgiving then leather.
Yeah I pull the insole out of my 85s highs and air ships. The insole is just way too thick for me. I actually put a cork insole from the element 87 in my 85 highs and they worked perfectly. I would love to get a bunch of thin cork insoles as I have that thickness issue with a few Nike/jordans

Lowkey one of the best releases of the year. Everything about them is on point, quality is excellent, super accurate retro. JB finally did the lows justice ❤ I'll buy every OG cw. I managed to get these on release for 10% off, which made the high price more acceptable

170$ for such a basic sneaker with very basic quality and no extra laces or anything is insane. Nike abuses prices like hell but still people will buy them because of the everyday colorway...

The quality on these is far above usual Nike/JB quality tbh. The price is still crazy, but they did a perfect retro here. At least keep the criticism accurate.

$160 US in my opinion is well worth it especially for an OG so close to the original with great materials I just hope Nike keeps making 85 lows in Og color ways and Nike pleas don’t ever go back to the smaller swoosh

Odd I got grey laces but then again nike screwed up my whole damn order like someone should b fired cuz this was just stupidity if I could only post a picture of the box
the pre-aged midsole looks 10xs better than when your soles age on their own.
I swear the 85 lows sole is a little more narrow that the 2021 version

I bought my pair before watching any reviews and I went down half a size. They were pretty snug but after wearing for just about 2 days, they already feel better. They’re still snug but I can wear them even pretty comfortably

The insole is different too compare to standard “OG Lows”, so they’re a bit more comfy. Honestly, bum the box 😂 they should’ve made it slimmer not longer.

These shit all over GR dunks quality wise. Don't sleep on the 85s. The price is annoying, but the shoes are perfect.
@@Neil-qg9cw guess it can make up for the extra $70 dollars but still nike leather at the end of the day. The price is inflated for the new mold for the shoe and the JB tax of course… I’ll get if they go on sale or I can find under retail on a 3rd party

Only thing that I didn’t like about the shoe is that I noticed when I look at the heels the wing logo placement is higher on the left shoe also the cut on the leather is higher on the left shoe compared to the right shoe is yours the same

85 is literally better in every way. More accurate to the OG, better comfort, better materials, looks better on foot etc. The 2021 pairs aren't a real low OG, they're an sb jordan 1 low.

My only complaint is the canvas tongue. Apart from that these are my sneaker of the year and super comfy daily beaters. TTS 100%
I don’t agree with the sizing. I have a little wide foot - and it feels super tight - do they break in ???
The 1985 ogs have a canvas tongue. All these nylon tongues are wrong. They should put canvas tongues on the highs
The canvas tongue is correct to the OG pairs. The white tongues were canvas and the black tongues were normal. JB actually nailed that part of the shoe, and it makes the tongue move less without affecting comfort.
@@Pitti71 my pair hurt the first 2 days and after breaking them in they are now super comfy. You can also use thin socks

Yea the 2015 pair had a slightly bigger swoosh
Yea but this swoosh is the closest to the real '85 swoosh we have seen so far. 2015 had bigger swoosh than '85. Although it looks good, this one is closer to the OG.
Nah, the swoosh on the 2015/16 pairs was oversized. This is a more accurate 85 retro. I like the fat swoosh but it is less correct.
