Awesome video Bill!! Great to see your set up in all its glory especially at night with the projector! Funny how over the years, we’ve managed to piece together very similar set ups. My only recommendations would be a shade guard for your laptop to keep the sun, bugs, dirt, and dust off of it. I use a large plastic storage tub with holes drilled into it for ventilation. I would also suggest a “laptop cooling pad” for your laptop to help on those warm days (about $10-20 on amazon). Beyond that, maybe an additional net above so you can hit full flop shots in GSPro. I stitch together 2 (or more) nets with paracord and with zip ties however the zip ties have slowly been breaking. Paracord only going forward. To get my nets higher, I tied the paracord to a water bottle and threw it to the 2 highest branches I could reach. Pull the nets up like a flag. As I mentioned in the live, I got tired of the CCE mat moving around but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Oh, and great swing!!

Thank you, I would say it was somewhat inspired by your setup with my own twists added. It has evolved over this first year as I started with just the catch net and stance/hitting mat. Wanted to make sure the old body could handle hitting a couple hundred shots at a time first. Hit the sand wedge over the catch net and added the 10x15 back net to stop that...
Once I got the R10 I had to put more space between the hitting area and the net, so it had to go higher. That's when I got the 20x15 net and moved the 10x15 to the side. I had bought one 5x10 roll of fake grass already but added a second when I added the extra scape between. Figured I need to keep the balls somewhat clean for the impact screen, plus I like the look better than the pine needles that are there otherwise. Does mean that part of my setting up includes a leaf blower to clear the "grass". My CCE mat can only move within it little area as it's bordered on three sides, so I just have to slide it back a few inches when it moves.
I didn't mention it in the video but my DIY stand includes a turntable that I can slide a TV on to when it's more than just me hitting out there. Made it so the legs of the TV would be held so a breeze can't tip it over. I started with just one of my workmate stands to stage things on. One of my neighbors joined me when I had the Ipad and E6 and it was a bit of a pain to see. Stand back while the person hits and then move in to see where the ball goes to... As of yet the TV hasn't been used as no one has joined me since I upgraded to GSPro... The projector hasn't gotten much use either as when the sun goes down the mosquitoes come out...lol.
I do have a cooling pad for the laptop but so far it seems to be doing fine without it. I run on high, not ultra, graphics and while it does get warm it doesn't get hot. Where my setup is, it's not in direct sun so I guess that helps. I am thinking about adding a top over the laptop area to protect it from falling branches, pinecones, and anything else that may drop from above.

@@bogeymanBill Love it! I've debated artificial grass as well but thought it would end up being lumpy and wasn't enthused about cleaning it every time lol. I'm jealous of your permanent stand/table. I bring out 2 snack trays every time but may try my hand at building something more permanent like yours in the future. The snack trays aren't a big hassle but I'm all about reducing set up/break down time. I also used to bring out a 32" TV when friends/family would come over for HTH but since going to the gaming laptop for GSPro, the laptop monitor works just fine. I use the cooling pad as well as a small desk fan for extra cooling. May be overkill but I want to prolong my laptop's life as much as possible!

@@HoselRocketGolf Nothing fancy about my stand. The workmate was a hassle and was a little bit short for my liking. The stand is a much better height for seeing without bending over. Since it is mostly old pallet wood almost nothing but time invested. The projector stand is also just pallet wood, leave them both where they are, no setup.
Have you tried a patio heater for your setup? Thinking about getting one but not sure if the heatwaves from it would interfere with the Garmin.

@@bogeymanBill Although a heater would be really nice, I have not considered it. I believe my set up is too open. Can't imagine how much propane I would burn through. Maybe if it were a bit more covered/enclosed as well as less surface area. I would likely explore electric heaters if I were in a garage set up.
