  • The Hillary Clinton-produced play 'Suffs' has been unable to sell tickets during the peak Broadway
Broadway Theatre Industry official site "The Broadway League" reported that Hillary Clinton-produced stage play "Suffs" is on the bottom rung of shows in terms of filling capacity for the week of May 5. The show, which first opened on Broadway last month, features an entirely female and non-binary cast, including Tony winner Nikki M. James, Jenn Colella, Emily Skinner, and Grace McLean as President Woodrow Wilson. The three-hour-long play explores the women's suffrage movement of the early 1900s and features an "entirely female and non-binary cast," including Tony winner Nikki M
Clinton, who co-produced the play, expressed her connection to the characters in the play and the importance of relationships with those she works for. She also mentioned the relevance of the play to the current challenges in the country. BroadwayLeague.com's numbers revealed that last week's numbers for "Suffs" were even worse, with the show only filling 78% of its 7,784 total seats across performances.
Breitbart News argued that the performance should still be drawing big crowds during Broadway's peak season, which is currently the month before the Tony Awards. The play's lagging numbers look even worse considering it's a new show, and Breitbart News also noted that Vice President Harris's niece, Meena Harris, is another producer on the stage play.
