Great! I already have the Omnifixo, but I could use some more clamps! Thanks for the tip with the Kossel balls, I've been searching those kind of parts!
Thank you :) your welcome, usually I would include the proper source but that got lost when switching from f360 to freecad a while back... I mite redo the model in FreeCad and ad it ;)
I've been working on a similar project but going for the full metal approach. aren't you afraid the solder or a heat gun might ruing the clamps? I don't have a 3d printer so i dunno if that's even a thing or if having a 3d printer makes it a non issue
I printed them in PETG and added a bit of heat shrink for insulation and better grip. So far I had no issue. That being said, i just used my soldering iron (no heat gun) and i only solderd stuff where I don't need ton s of heat (no XT60 or so). On the other hand if they should melt it's a 5min print. So yes it is a concern but so far not realy a problem

I really appreciate that you included the .STEP file so we can remix them for different sizes of hardware or clamps.
Excellent, very helpful, thank you!
Thank you 😊

Hehe, immer gerne ;)
This looks like an excellent project, simple and extremely useful, and much more affordable than an omnifixo.
Thanks for sharing and great work!
Thank you :) yea after I made the first it was to simple and useful, I had to share it :D
Great project! Thank you for sharing it here and the files.

🤔 Hot air and 'low' temperature melting FDM plastic clamps
🤨 SLA Ceramic Resin printed clamps
🤗👍
hehe good point! I only really used them with a soldering iron. But yea SLA with the right resin should do it.
