What many fans might not know is that Salazar's first love was not musical theatre, but drumming. From his earliest days, Salazar was inspired by his father's playing and naturally developed percussion skills of his own. In this exclusive profile, Playbill caught up with Salazar at the Elektra Theatre where he is currently a cast member of "F#%king Up Everything." This new comic musical not only displays his chops as a musical theatre performer but also as a drummer - Salazar sits behind the skins for the shows 23 songs.

Aight, I played percussion in my school's orchestral band for almost 7 years, so I fucking _love_ perc. My brother also had a drumkit in the basement that I was always mesmerized by and wanted to play on.
So when I first discovered George could play the drums, jesus christ almighty I was so happy. my love for him went into the infinite power. the limit does not exist.

Yeah, it's on Spotify as "Brooklyn Crush" :) I saw this video a few weeks ago, but I found the cast recording through George's Spotify page, looking at the cast recordings he's been in, and I didn't realise that it was this one, until I looked it up to see who George's character is (because I think the character is gay too!), and I read that it used to be called Fucking Up Everything and I was like OMG ITS THAT SHOW THAT HE PLAYED DRUMS IN
