Music is subjective. To me, I can relate to the lyrics, that doesn't mean everyone can. Part of the chorus is "Lovelorn and alone", thats something I can relate to. Going through hard times or emotional tribulations doesnt make you an "edge lord", it's part of being human.
@@tigerfalco well you shouldnt relate because life doesnt have to be all love lost and misery. The music is still enjoyable and lyrics can make you feel something but you don't have to relate

You dont choose whether or not you can relate to something or not. And trying to say I dont enjoy the song just because I can relate to the lyrics doesnt make sense. Neither does claiming my whole life has to be sad because I relate to a sad lyric. The equivalent of what you just told me is someone listening to a T. Swift song after a breakup and telling them "you shouldnt relate because life isn't always you getting broken up with, the music is still enjoyable".
I really like this song. I just so happen to be able to relate to some of the lyrics, being able to relate to music makes me enjoy it more.

Emo is not dead
Sounds like a darker version of destroys the runner with a tighter structure. Musically it sounds like dtr but with tighter transissions and a deeper crisper guitar tones.
