    Since I've subscribed, your content is starting to refine, and I'm excited to see where things go. Proud subscriber! Great to see you getting more proficient with the Osmo Pocket. Sharing what you've learned with it was super insightful. I recently traveled with it, and used it for about 3 weeks straight. I learned a lot from it, and made a number of mistakes - though nothing profound, learned that having the osmo pocket, and it being so convenient, I took a lot of footage that was junk. It was great learning from you here. Inspired me to try to film/photo always from new/creative angles and to avoid the ease (and junk) of everyday shots!

      That comment means everything, thanks a lot Paul. I've had it for about 5 months now and I'm sure I've captured 50/50 good and bad footage and been devastated when editing later in post. I've just been adamant in finding better ways of minimising errors. It's a massive trial and error game like you said, but I love learning and sharing and discussing things in the comment section. At the end of the day we are all trying to capture the moments the best way we possibly can 🙌 thanks for the support means everything 🙌

    Helpful hints Duane. Aside from those I definitely need to invest in a silicone case. I carry the OP round like it’s made of matchsticks - terrified of breaking it 😂

    • @duanesaundersmedia
      @duanesaundersmedia  5 лет назад

      😂 in all honestly I think the original case that comes with the device is better as it protects the gimbal head. I have to wear it around my neck which isn't a bad thing but if you have an end filter on it can fall off easily 😑 so overall not a bad investment for £6. How you getting on with yours?

    1. What’s the other camera you’re using while you’re using the Osmo Pocket
    2. Can you maybe make a video on breaking down usage of ND filters, shutter speeds and other settings the Osmo Pocket allows to be used? (Like when do you use certain settings and why? And maybe film examples with and without those settings and ND filters)

    Ok, what about the DJI osmo pocket mic adapter? Not only DJI charges you a premium for what is a cheap piece of plastic and makes it impossible to use a third party equivalent adapter but, at least outside of the USA this item is impossible to find. I even managed to buy it from a local reseller, I am in the UK, to be told the day before delivery (a good three weeks after I ordered it) that it was out of stock and would not be back in stock for another month at least. Furthermore, two-three days later, I received a stock reminder from DJI (as I had registered with their service before finding out that a UK reseller had one in stock) that the item was back in stock. Nevertheless, when I tried to buy it from their store (I received the reminder at 11.30pm and I saw the email only two hours later when I tried to buy it from their online store) I could not buy it and customer service told me that it was out of stock and tried to convince me to buy it from an American resellers for close to double its price (plus possible import tax by UK customs).

    Hey Mr. Saunders I agree that a Pocket camera can do so much more than just give a stable steady shot. Your title says "better videos"... when you say "video" you mean anything from a few seconds and up, right? I'm from the era of turning the camera on, recording (filming), and touring it off. No post-production other than what was done to develop the film. A Pocket or Pocket 2 must be one of the best possible options for people that are willing to sit in front of a PC for hours on end. Cutting and splicing bit together to build a... production? We just called them movies. What I am trying to do is catch crows in flight. I'm pretty sure the camera in conjunction with a 4th Axis gimble is going to work, but it going to take tons of experimentation. I have some interesting video "flying" with crows on an old generation GoPro, but the Pocket will take things to another level... if I can figure it out. Worrying about the soundtrack while recording the video is another big concern. Other than YT infomercials have you made a video... a movie that you like to show off? Stay safe.
