This competitor series has become one of your core range in your channel. And I like the funny comparison between whiskeys very much. Cheers guys!
You guys are fantastic. What a harmony between father and son! Great.
Glendronach 12 vs Macallan 12 needs to happen, make it happen, the people want it , you want it !
Cheers to both of you!! I've been catching up with these "comparison" videos and I must say I've enjoyed them along! Your knowledge and humor come thru marvelously! Slainte
One thing in common: both distilleries heat their stills with a flame, which is very rare. And nice.
Loving the format guys
What a great combo to taste! Tough call! A+
I really like your comparison videos. Very entertaining :)
Very interesting video. Would love to have a comparison between Glenfiddich 18 years v Bowmore 18 years. Horst, could you please let me know what watch you're wearing? Thanks.
nice beginner matching. Two classic but Glenfarclas is definitely one of my favourites distilleries. The 1971 40yrs is divinely my top 3 best whisky ever. Would be nice to see more Pro matching. What about around a 150$ us bottle match? Glenfarclas and Glendronach 21 vs 21
I have compared this both in a blind tasting. Glenfarclas is the price Winner, but If we have to decide only for the taste definitly Glendronach will win.
Another nice video, I would just add that in the UK, glenfiddich 12 is typically cheaper than glenfarclas 10, especially considering glenfiddich is more readily available in supermarkets, so it tends to be on offer and easier to get a hold of. glenfiddich 12 can often be found £25 on offer, whereas glenfarclas retails at around £30/35 and is rarely discounted
This video surely is very helpful for someone like me who’s trying to learn more about whisky. Thanks.
Noob
Ofcourse Glenfarclas 🥃🥃🥃
Loved the banter 😂
Great comparison video. Both of these are really highly successful whiskies. However in South Africa the Glenfarclas is very much more expensive than the Glenfiddich. Take care
Good to see both in good health 😀😀
No versus and No Scoring....That's why I like Horst's reviews!
When Ben said, 'He is a harmonious person." It reminded me of the 60's series "The Prisoner" with the episode where the setting is of the old west (of America), titled, "Living in Harmony."
Remember, Horst, "I am not a number, I am a free man!" In today's language, "Whisk(e)y reviews with no scoring, makes me whisk(e)y more enjoyable."
You 2 are uber-fun !
My first Glenfarclas was 8 YO. Even that young is my most prefers than Glefiddich 12.
Here in the us, glenfiddich is about 50% cheaper and imo, the 12 glenfiddich is one of the best deal in terms of quality and consistency.
In CA the Glenfiddich 12 runs around $35 and Glenfarclas 12 only about $41
Glenfarclas every time!!!
Why not Glanfarclas 12?
Ara Kafafian I’m guessing closer in price
@@andrewmoss1135 on whisky.de the 12 is closer to the Glenfiddich then the 10
Glendronach 12 vs Mcallan 12 plzzzzzzz
Mcallan 12 for sure
Ah the old German banter. Sehr lustig. :D
What is the differance in price between thos bottles?
Glenfarclas 10 is about 5-10€ cheaper. Depending on where you buy it from
@@tolga1cool Is glenfiddich 12 more expensive or cheaper than glenfarclas 12?
You can say with me?
@@kienvu4735 Where I live they are about the same. Depending if there is a sale or not. However Glenfiddich is much easier to find
@@tolga1cool ok,thank you.but in my country, glenfarclas 10 is more expensive than glenfiddich 12 about 3-5$. And glenfarclas 12 is of course much more expensive than glenfiddich 12!!😅😅
Should it be 12 VS 12? Strange....
Had me laughing pretty good there! As a beginner I would go with the Glenfiddich. Easy drinking .
Glenfarclas, always.
Why not compare a 12 year with a 12 year? Glenfarclas 12 is far better than the 10, and better than the Glenfiddich. I also love that Glenfarclas is still Independently Owned in an age of most distilleries being bought up by giant corps.
I would go with the Sherry. Glenfarclas 10. (Glenfiddich 12 is too mass produced and beyond overrated). BEN WINS!!!
I've never had glenfarclas...somebody help
Here the Glenfarclas costs 50% more.
I've only had the Glanfarclas 12 and I didn't think it was very fruity at all.
I might go with Glenfiddich, choosing the better nose over the better texture.
And who said Germans aren't funny 😂
Who said Germans don't have a sense of humor
12 year old whisky should be compared with 12 year old whisky
Agreed, apples must be compared to apples, not oranges lol.
Entry level vs entry level.
Plus, I assume the 10 and 12 Glenfarclas are very similar anyway so why be so ODC about it.
glenfiddich is cheaper
Glenfiddch 18 kills Glenfarclas 21!!!
#YourWaq
Blasphemy !!!! hahaha. Cheers
Glenfarclas is only good 15 years or older. The only time I ever get Glenfarclas 10 is when I fly United lol.
Hard disagree, 12 is great sherry bomb and 10 is absolute bang for the buck drum. I agree that 15 is best in the line when it comes to value/performance, that's my favorite.
105 is really good also
@@Linxcze I like the Glenfarclas 17. But for the same price as a Glenfarclas 10, wouldn't you rather get a Glendronach 12?? I mean, if you're talking "bang for your buck" there's definitely other bottles out there
@RJ I would, but here in Czech Republic Glendronach 12 is significantly more expensive. Can get Glenfarclas for ±€25, Glendronach is almost 40.
@@Linxcze Ah, that makes sense. I'm sure you guys have some decent bottles over there that are hard to get over here in the US though!
