I'll have to look for that 2021 edition of Don't Look in the Basement. I love that retro VHS look. The movie shocked me when I was a kid and it still holds up for what it is.
Great update, buddy. Also I forgot to tell you on my email that I sent you, that I don't pick a movie, until officially has a 4K release. For example if I have a movie already on Blu-ray, I won't upgrade it on 4K but if I don't own it yet, I'll wait for a future 4K release because I'm pretty sure that it will happen, always more and more movies come on 4K. If you're interested for an extra upgrade, Repo Man and The Long Good Friday are coming on 4K by Criterion.

Don't look in the basement is one of my favorite movies I agree it's cheesy and low budget but there are some scenes that are hilarious such as the scene with the telephone repair man and Alison the girl that's so love struck not to mention the old lady ms Callahan who keeps saying this creepy poem

Mother of Tears has a blu ray from German company 8-films. I have it, it's English friendly and can be picked up for a reasonable price on ebay etc.
