These short videos are really good you should keep on going 👍
Thanks Xavier
I had a hard time finding one last year but ended up getting mine from Charlton's Fishing Tackle Shop at Redbank Plains they had 10 in stock at the time. Totally love it no more stray hooks in little kids fingers. Be sure to wash it out at the end of the day as I didn't know and by the next time alll the hooks had rusted.
Awesome rod especially when kids are about
Hi Wayne, which reel do you recommend for this rod?
Any 2000 size will work. I like the Okuma range.
Thanks for the video mate!
Most welcome
Good 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Berkah
If you want to knock up a much cheaper UTG that will do exactly the same job.
Length of electrical conduit hose clamp the reel into place. Job done 👌🎣🍻
Not quite. The hooks will continually catch when winding in.
@@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing Not at all, been using exactly as described for a past 5 years with 100% success 👌🎣🍻
Awesome.
Hi mate
Have you done any videos on cod? Caught a large cod off Redcliffe this morning and have always returned them to the water, unsure as to whether they are good eating
Cheers
No I haven’t directly but have a number of videos over the years with them as by catch. Great eating.
Hey Wayne, Just thought I'd let you know that you've got the wrong link to your patreon in your description. The link you've got is for a creator home page, not for the actual patreon page someone could subscribe to.
Thanks Anton. I’ll take a look.
Yep you were spot on. Thanks again
Hi Wayne my names Ryan from fcl I am new to RUclips and want to start my very own fishing channel would you be keen on going out for a fish sometime to try and boost our channels I am a redcliff based fisho and I would love to do a collaboration video with you
Gday Ryan. I’m flattered that you would like to collaborate with me but it’s near impossible for me ATM. I work full time, I have 2 YT channels Land and Bay along with 4x4 TrekOZ. I’ve 4 years left at my full time job until retirement, after that I will be able to spend time on Collaborating etc. I’m just to time poor atm. That said I’m only a text message away via FB messenger anytime you have a question about camera gear or fishing.
Thank you groomesy 👍
They are cheeky lil buggers
Edit.. was that off Redcliffe jetty?
Yep.
Hi Wayne, I have been looking for a set up just like this for my bait jigging. I have gone through way too many jigs purely through massive tangles. I have found a place just around the corner who stocks the Okuma UTG Sabiki. Just one question, that jetty you are catching those herring on in Redcliffe, where is that located?
The Redcliffe jetty is the one in front of the shops in Redcliffe parade.
Thumbs up 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Cam
