Thanks for doing this video. Do those drain plugs have gaskets (washers) that should be replaced? Were you able to get undeath of it without jacking it up or the use of ramps?
What a stupid shroud …My 99 GM has better shroud designs... I can't even understand why they went with an access panel instead of just hinging the whole shroud. Who's designing these things? Well I shouldn't complain too much... 20,000 mi and not too many problems. Something happened with the touch control... The screen was getting ghost inputs and Nav would refuse to use highways.. We brought it in, they said nothing was wrong and it's been OK since, miraculously. So it either fixed itself or they did something and wouldn't say.
I'm not sure why many RUclipsrs never remove the engine shroud. It takes all of 5 seconds (just 4 points of contact) and it sure makes access to the oil filter housing much easier. Too each his own, I guess, but I always remove the shroud.

Great video. Very informative and well done.
18 ft lbs on the oil change bolt 🔩
I just checked that. It’s 18 on the oil filter cap. 20 on the bolt. But just a little snug is enough.
Huh? 18 ugga duggas? lol

Pennzoil man !!! Pennzoil !! Lol
Is this the same for a 2021 Cherokee?
Yes it is. I just changed the oil on my wife's 2021 Cherokee and followed the process this video laid out.
can I use 5w30 in 3.2v6
5w20. That's what the manual and the cap says on it. Please do not use 5w30
