    How often do you intubate? Pediatric and neonatal intensive care?.

      Hahaha... i understand what you are saying. Many of the things she is referring to are not applicable in NICU. 90% of deliveries do not need active resuscitation. 9% require Bag mask ventilation and no more than that. 1% require Intubation, chest compressions and medications as well. So, very uncommon, but none the less, preparation is key. Successful intubation requires preparation, while some of the things presenter said are redundant in NICU ( like full stomach, OG tube present, scoliosis, kyphyosis etc, ) but she said Pediatric intubation ( not just neonatal intubation), let us assume that she wanted to be comprehensive.
