I'm a superintendent of a private course with a million dollar budget. It's expensive AF but membership for my club is $25,000 for the lowest level. It's comes with the pool, tennis, bowling, 5 star restaurant and so much more, so you get a lot. The course is always in perfect condition, 007 greens, zoysia fairways and bentgrass tees. Any member that brings a guest It's free. Here are the cons, irrigation is expensive to upkeep, parts maintenance, chemicals and everything else needed is only getting more expensive as time goes on. Mowers are extremely expensive and upkeep on those is out of sight so, my best piece of advice, don't buy a golf course which the price of that alone is expensive
