Being from Columbus, Ohio, my ears pricked open at the city's mention. This is what I googled about the first violin: • Jackson Guldan sound-hole label. The Jackson Guldan Co. of Columbus, Ohio was a manufacturer of stringed musical instruments, operating in the first half of the 20th Century. Most notably, the company produced violins, fiddles, and violas as its primary product. Secondly, it made acoustic guitars, most carrying the brand name Adjustomatic. Thirdly, it maintained a toy department that, among other products, made toy violins for children.
You have a wonderful little guttural laugh. You sound suspiciously like you are thoroughly enjoying your bounty. Of course you have every right to. You made an awesome choice! Great going!!

Thank you Jack_I enjoy your videos & comments as you go into such detail along the way. Many will continue to be entertained & inspired because of your realistic & unrehearsed post*
Your first violin is in ruff condition but possibly could be restored. The amber block is resin . You put it on the hair or strings, that attached to the bow or “wand”. It makes the hair sticky to grab the strings when you play. Look inside and if there’s a sound peg that’s upright it’s in the right place if it’s rattling around your fiddle is shot.
LOL....that laughter when u r happy....hmhmhmhm😏😂😂 great stuff this!!! Hubby would have love to find a locker like that, being a musician (playing guitar and singing).
Jack, love that you show hitting the mother load and the complete bust, of your business. It’s not always Louis Vuitton, and Gucci. It’s empty piggy banks and tacky Nick nacks! Love your channel!
Don’t discount the instruments without checking the out. They can be fixed up and if they are made by a quality business, they could be worth money. They usually store them without the strings, so it doesn’t stress out the necks of the violins and guitar.
"No strings" usually isn't too much of an issue with guitars, as most people put new strings on as soon as they buy one, generally strings that they have become accustomed to.
Had a neighbor that used to do what you do I remember when I was a kid (54 now ) I used to get a kick out of going to naval auctions at alameda and all the school auctions I still have a lathe and some other things I got when I went with him I wouldn’t mind tagging along one day just to bring back memories he also used to pay me to help in niles every year that was another fun place to go
Block of rosin for the bow. Helps the strings both glide and grab better for better sound. Machine with plastic bowl like topand spike inside- I think is a cotton candy spinner.
I loved the boxes. I dont pick and choose which of your videos to watch. I watch them all. Maybe not the case for everyone or new watchers of storage unit buyers so you need to do stand out in some way. I feel you genuinely pick things that stand out in the story in someway. Part of being a content creator is sparking interst. Why not use the boxes as a thumbnail. Super cool. Peace, still waiting for you to dig out the 901 stands!!
and you dont store violins or bass guitars with the strings on because that will bend the wooden neck ,..if you store for a long time either take strings off or very loose
hey Jack maybe you should hook up those violins and play immuno we like to hear Devil Went Down to Georgia looking for a soul to steal fire flu from his fingertip as he rounded up his bowl I know you can play that Jack😁😂😂✌❤❤
Hi Jack, the cases can be pricey. I don’t know if you still have them, but we use cases like that for our DJ shows.. used we buy them for about $50 a case. Great finds.. 😀
You still have alot more to go through hopefully it just keeps getting better and better. You are such a sweet family you deserve the best possible unit's ever. ❤😊🙏🏻👍🏻 hopefully one of them will keep you going for years to come. Pay for your kids college and more. 🤣
The amber block is rosin for a bow. Look for a maker on the fattest part of the bow. Could be very valuable !! Definitely research name on the labels inside of the violins, some makers are valuable no matter if they have damage.
The instruments should be worth some money, take it to a reputable repair shop, they can give you realistic value. Love the trunks, so don't down yourself Jackie. ;)
Jack Mister Locker nuts it's a great video I hope you don't mind that I dropped comments why I watch the video I think everybody should because when you watch the whole video sometimes you forget about the beginning of the video so I love your videos I love that you're wearing that GoPro on your chest you can work with your hands better awesome keep doing what you're doing and much love all the way from Spain and I'll keep watching you on lock nuts🔒🥜🔒🥜🔒🥜🔒🥜🔒🥜👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤✌✌✌✌✌✌😂😁
Wirh the violins that you found the block you found in the first case was more than likely a rosin block to condition the strings. The rod is called a bow. Tge Jackson-Gulden Co that made the first violin was only in operation from 1915 - 1971 with it's decline coming due to thwir prices being undercut by Germzn manufacturers.
Not without some significant pro restoration on those ones, if they they would be of any value. I don't think they would have been put in storage if they could easily be converted into big money.
I refurbish instruments..Each violin is worth 150.00$ as is, classical spanish student guitar= 200.00 as is..taking the strings off and storing them with them off is the correct way to do it.
That depends entirely if there are some luthiers in your area.. String the guitar with gut strings/ classical types and go for ebay ..The violins are problematic...they need restoration and they are worth 150.00 bucks yet need 300-500$ restoration costs to make them in to 150.00 buck violins
I new someone who bought an old violin at an estate sale for $1500, spent $2500 to get refurbished and sold it for $17,000. I don’t remember the name of it though.
The helmets could very well have been worn by bikers. Many of them wear that "beanie bucket" style and many motorcycle stores do sell them.. they have the same warning you found, but it's not uncommon to see them in use with bogus D.O.T. stickers on top or replacing the novelty tag.
A box filled with staging items and musical instruments(?), and two helmets. Must have been playing for a tough crowd. The kevlar jacket goes right along with these...
That little block from the violin case is resin for the violin strings for smoothness of playing
Thank you! I did not know that.
Locker Nuts Fourth grade memories....
Rosin is for the bow.
The violin bows can be worth more than the violins.

Thanks for researching that! Great info.

I’m going to guess the violins can be repaired. They look like they were loved.

Jack I never think your thumbnails as clickbait. Always a pleasure watching you ❤️
Thats not a wand, its a bow. With the violin. 👍👍❤🤓
You never know what will be in there and that is what is fascinating. Thanks so much
THAT IS PART OF THE JOB IT'S STILL FUN
Strings are loosened or removed so temperature changes don't cause them to warp the instrument.
LOL....that laughter when u r happy....hmhmhmhm😏😂😂 great stuff this!!! Hubby would have love to find a locker like that, being a musician (playing guitar and singing).
Wow super stuff. The beauty old fiddles & cases are wonderful. The guitar is so cool. Wow wow
Amazing video lots of lights and power outlets sweet worth selling profit
Jack, love that you show hitting the mother load and the complete bust, of your business. It’s not always Louis Vuitton, and Gucci. It’s empty piggy banks and tacky Nick nacks! Love your channel!

Hi from Ontario Canada

I love going on the adventure with you and I think you are doing a wonderful job.
Easy peasy- and it works!!
No Jack. You don't play a violin with a wand. BOW is more like it. The eraser looking thing in the first case was rosin. Rosin up the bow.
Thanks!

Old violins are worth money and the bow can be fixed. But it’s a great find for Locker Nuts.
Thumbnails are on point so no worries one day it will happen, and i never thought id hear you spitting straight Fire!!!
That yellow table is cool, looks just like a guitar pick.
and you dont store violins or bass guitars with the strings on because that will bend the wooden neck ,..if you store for a long time either take strings off or very loose
hey Jack maybe you should hook up those violins and play immuno we like to hear Devil Went Down to Georgia looking for a soul to steal fire flu from his fingertip as he rounded up his bowl I know you can play that Jack😁😂😂✌❤❤
At 7:30 And rosin up your bow!!!
Hi Jack, the cases can be pricey. I don’t know if you still have them, but we use cases like that for our DJ shows.. used we buy them for about $50 a case. Great finds.. 😀
That laugh is so wicked
Hair cut looks very nice
The pro camera and regular camera. Like it when we get both viewing
The small square thing with the resin looking stuff is the Rosin for the bow.
I am glad you show your name I hope everyone get staff from C show there name
Those boxes are something I would buy.
Great video!
You should have the violins looked at they look old could have value
That broom is from a wedding
The chunk in the violin case is resin for the bow
You still have alot more to go through hopefully it just keeps getting better and better. You are such a sweet family you deserve the best possible unit's ever. ❤😊🙏🏻👍🏻 hopefully one of them will keep you going for years to come. Pay for your kids college and more. 🤣

Seventies Japanese made classical guitar. Restrung, cleaned and set-up should have some value.

If you find an indian headdress, thinking Village People, lol

Very nice haircut!

Thanks Leroy! I don't mind when you make comments... I always love your comments. Hope you're having a great weekend!!!
I love the go pro too. Allows us to see in the box too.
The "trunks" themselves will get a little bit of money, I would buy them.
id like to think the music boxes would get money as an interior design element
I'm likin' the new Go-Pro

Heckacool video !!!
looks like you got a musical families stuff - hey maybe they were the partridge family
The Bismark goes with your German Luger piece!
old violin could be worth money just like they are some goes 3 to 5 grand
Not without some significant pro restoration on those ones, if they they would be of any value. I don't think they would have been put in storage if they could easily be converted into big money.
the block in the case is violin is resin for the violin bow
The guitar is more than likely from Japan.
Love it when you read the song lyrics eg
Stringed instrument in storage you should loosen or remove the strings
thx fore the video
Nice haircut.
I refurbish instruments..Each violin is worth 150.00$ as is, classical spanish student guitar= 200.00 as is..taking the strings off and storing them with them off is the correct way to do it.
Where do you think is the best place to sell such instruments?

Nice haircut
THAT BROOM LOOKED LIKE SOME ONE WAS PLAYING WITH THEIR PHONE AND FLYING
Please don’t disregard the guitar and violins, they may look ruff but could still hold some value.
I would put some legs and a piece of glass on the Fruitridge chests and sell them as bedside tables.
O my goodness!
Theater props maybe?
4:19 party in a box !
20:10 equivalent to a fresh air machine.
20:20 a rained. I paid $125.00 for mine new. It cleans the air through water

Roadie boxes for set up
I new someone who bought an old violin at an estate sale for $1500, spent $2500 to get refurbished and sold it for $17,000. I don’t remember the name of it though.
Jack Jack maybe they were going to refurbish the instruments!
Could be, definitely could be...
The helmets could very well have been worn by bikers. Many of them wear that "beanie bucket" style and many motorcycle stores do sell them.. they have the same warning you found, but it's not uncommon to see them in use with bogus D.O.T. stickers on top or replacing the novelty tag.
Fun fact if you take the newer cable boxes back they will give you money for them
Like this so he can see it
I have never heard that but I hope you’re right. I’ll check with Comcast and see.
"what do you call that... the wand?"..... face palmed myself! Are you serious?
Looks like a guitar pick stool
That’s what I thought....band outfits.
Called the bow and is made of horsehair
A box filled with staging items and musical instruments(?), and two helmets. Must have been playing for a tough crowd. The kevlar jacket goes right along with these...
