An insight into Camphill School Aberdeen, who we are and what we do.
Camphill School Aberdeen is a charity (Registration No.SC015588) founded in 1940. We were the first school for children with additional support needs in the UK and we founded the global Camphill Movement; one of the largest networks of independent charities in the world.
Our work empowers over 100 local children and young people to grow in confidence, independence and reach their fullest potential by accessing our sector leading day and residential services. Our young people have learning disabilities and complex additional support needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down’s Syndrome, Asperger’s Syndrome, Attachment Disorder and Foetal alcohol syndrome; as a minimum our young people require at least 1:1 specialist support.
