Yes there are some measures you can take, to get the best possible sound quality. USB instead of Bluetooth is one of them. But on a level playing field, I prefer the regular tweeters. The horns are designed to sound their best from far away. Just my opinion, others might disagree 😊
Sound quality is very good on both. The horns sound twice as loud to my ears. I personally prefer the way the regular tweeters sound, but it depends on your application. Horns will be better on wake towers, while the regular tweeters are better down below or in the cabin. The horns have a longer reach and are absolutely brutal.

About to order the horn driven component
They are very loud and handle lots of power. A bit expensive, but you pay for Rockford’s reputation for great quality. The horns are punishing!

How much louder are the horns? Seems the other has better SQ, what one do you prefer as the owner?
