I LOVE that our gov announced yesterday that they are finally getting rid of all the single-use plastics! Canada is so amazing we don't need it bogged down by all that stuff that just harms nature and future generations!!! I've heard people say "i don't know how we will have ____!" and I am sitting here thinking I am only 35 and we used to get fruit and stuff with cardboard packaging or even wood, and we would also have lose grapes and such and use our own bags!! Now everything is in a package! So many products say material is recyclable but after watching that documentary Stink (i believe) and it saying how much isnt actually recyclable I have been trying to cut back more, and of course, there are some products that claim to be recyclable but are impossible to clean, like chip bags, and you can't recycle unwashed items!!! Keep sharing the lifestyle girl!!! Even though most of us arent able financially to always do the right thing, it helps us to see the little areas we all can make changes!!

@@davinki3005 I googled and it looks like both banned trans fats across the board in 2018. Perhaps there is new news on this that's not coming up in a quick search though. Either way, more countries need to get on board and labeling needs to be better, in Canada we have pretty great labels and its still not enough, they show how to read labels in school as party of nutrition class, but we need more transparency when it comes to "spices" and "natural flavor" and "natural color" as these areas hide allergens easily and can hide behind proprietary blends. None of us are wanting to steal recipes, we just want to know that there isn't anything dangerous hidden! (Ok a few ppl have the time to try to replicate a food, but why?)
Marisa S that’s so true. I hope Canada will start making laws about easy to read ingredient list. The average person does not understand what most of the things in their food are. Things like “artificial colours/flavours”, “concentrate”, or chemical names like Sodium bisulfite and Propylene glycerol. The only people who would know are people with scientific backgrounds ie. chemists (or chemistry lovers)

Flossing in the morning is kind of random to me. Idk why. Lol My husband is a dentist and he flosses at night AFTER brushing.
And I bet he still needs to floss more like every person that ever comes into the office XD

I never floss and my dentist said I’m fine. I have a small mouth, my teeth and super close together and we can barely get floss between them. He said “if I can forcefully get floss between them, you’re not getting food between them!” Everyone’s different.
I have never thought to floss after brushing. Is there a reason? Or is that just what he prefers?

I love how you take care of your children. My parents never taught me personal hygiene, I literally didn’t know how important was. I learned everything by myself in the year. It makes me cry think the love you have for your children and I’m happy to know they are lucky to have you. I wasn’t lucky but i love my parents anyway.

What size is your bed? If it’s a king where did you get your white linen blanket?! We updated and got a king, and then found out how hard it is to find a blanket that doesn’t only cover the top of the bed.
