Carbon Fiber Repair of Hockey Stick | How to Fix Cracked Hockey Stick

The broken hockey stick could be trashed or repaired - Why not try a fix since that's what DIY'ers do.

The heel of the hockey stick was in bad shape needing to be strengthened and so I decided to do the repair and rewrap it with carbon fiber cloth. This was a bit of an experiment - a trial run to see how difficult this kind of work is.
I initially strengthened the heel of the stick with JB Weld. Then I proceeded to wrap the blade of the hockey stick with the carbon fiber cloth wetted in the total boat resin and hardener mix.
