Him: the visual here is so mute so emotionless… Me: LMAO HE GOT THE FULL LORE JUST WITH ONE MV WHILE WE LITERALLY WENT THROUGH YEARS AND SONGS TO UNDERSTAND THAT PART 😅
Love your reaction and how fast you fell in love with the group. For a shirt: 8 makes 1 team or Fix on! Which you'll soon learn will make your heart do funny things because hearing it will prepare you for a full on attack by Mingi.
Imitation: YAAASS! Yunho played Yujin! Jongho played Hyuk, Seonghwa was Seyoung, and San was Minsu. 🙂 Buying the ticket was the right choice. You will not regret it. Halazia will not be on the setlist for this tour, but you will NOT be disappointed, I promise you. You are right: Performance Kings is an understatement. As you go along your journey, you will find out that ATEEZ has 8 main dancers, 8 main vocals, and 8 main rappers, and 8 main visuals, of course.
THAT WAS YUNHO!? Yujin is like that super sweet boyfriend type of character he was great. I really want to watch it all again now knowing it's them! Oh... that's actually a little sad I would have loved it if they performed it haha I am still super excited for it, and I know it'll be INCREDIBLE!!
@@atgnireactions5343 YES! Yunho is the boyfriend type in real life too. 🙂 Sorry, I should have said "spoiler alert" about the setlist. I only thought afterwards that some people don't like knowing things ahead of time. But I think in this case it will help you manage expectations. But, yeah, they had 2 concerts in Seoul, a few in America and 1 in Canada already this tour (last was 2nd December), so the European tour will have the same setlist as those concerts. I mean... you never know, they may include a little bit of it, but, I think it's unlikely. Just a side note: I don't know the girl groups you mentioned because I'm exclusively ATINY, so I don't know how they interact with fans, but I'll just say that ATEEZ are well known for interacting a lot with fans during concerts, so be ready for that. And also, if a bias chooses you before the concert, be ready for that to change about 8 times by the end of the concert. ;-) Thank you for the reaction. Looking forward to seeing your journey into becoming an ATINY.
we aren't sure about Halazia in the setlist tbh the guys are being all smug about it haha. I hope they add it to the setlist tho! It would be so great to watch on a big stage!
San has a powerful elegance around him and it’s an amazingly passionate performance every time he takes to the floor. What’s even crazier is that San never danced before joining Ateez, this is pure natural talent (and a lot of effort)… he is just incredible. I love watching San perform. San & Hongjoong are my biases…. Hongjoong is hypnotic live… his charisma and expressions are just perfection. His raps are so damn good, and his laugh is chefs kiss!
To give a simple explanation of their storyline: There are two universes. A (treasure, fever) and Z (World). The fever series shows us how a group of teenagers get together to become ATEEZ; Pirates who are looking for their treasure. The treasure series is about looking for said treasure, while also being confronted with the Z Universe. Halateez (alter egos with the black fedoras) use the Chromer (hourglass) to travel between time and dimensions and later give the chromer to ATEEZ. Halateez is part of the Z Universe. They live in Strictland, a futuristic land where dancing, music and art is forbidden and emotions are seen as a disease. They try to revolte against the government and form an alliance with ATEEZ from the A Universe. However, they are constantly hunted by a man in a white mask (who is most likely trying to stop their revolution) and first Yeosang, then Hongjoong even get trapped in a glass cage at some point. There are some nuances in every MV. For example San often covers for Hongjoong and sacrifices himself for the cause. Wooyoung seems to be linked to some kind of betrayal, but also has a connection to San. in Deja Vu the Chromer breaks, which I guess leads to the universes going crazy. In Eternal Sunshine you can see how the seasons change rapidly, in Halazia gravity doesn't work anymore, which you can also see in Eternal Sunshine and Turbulance, etc. The songtext and even choreography is often connected to the storyline :) If I may recommend an MV: Turbulance is my favorite ATEEZ song. The lyrics are very beautiful und the song shows how diverse ATEEZ can be!
Lovely explanation but the white masked men are actually androids and there are multiple of them! If you're interested in reading the entire known lore I recommend the ateez lore masterdoc
I saw my co-ATINY's recommending your reaction video to Wonderland in Twitter so I went here and watch (I already watch the wonderland Reaction first before this🤗) Thank you for appreciating our PIRATES 🤗 Sending support from FILOTINY'S (Philippine 🇵🇭 ATINY)🤗
I've seen them twice in concert, they are SOOOOoo worth seeing live, so much energy, dancing and motivation is just non stop it makes you want to dance w/ them if if your just jumping up n down, they were all so adorable interacting w/ the crowd & each other my fav from last concert was Cyberpunk
dont apologize !! i enjoyed the FULL reaction , and it would NOT be genuine if you cut it , im telling you rn , we ALL appreciate how you do reactions and there is no reason to change a single thing !!
Ateez’s lore is greatly referencing the movie Equilibrium. You can see it especially in their Guerrilla music video and the teaser videos that they released before it, they are like mini movies explaining the lore before the music video was released.
You can indeed, and can I just say thank you very much for your lovely comment! I really appreciate you saying so and for taking the time to watch them!
never forget that they are time travelling, there's no "new storyline", with Ateez the end is the beginning, the lore is so clever that you can baasically add a new dimension/reality without stepping out of the storyline (the end clip of Answer, January 2020, is the beginning of Sector 1, July 2022, same with Thanxx and Fireworks (I'm the one), and many more links and previews. The storyline is extremely complex, I stan them since their pre-debut era (they were called KQ Fellaz), and I still cannot understand and connect everything
Never apologize for how long your videos are! Us Atiny are here for our boys and for new Atinys to discover them! We love to partake in the wonder and joy that is discovering them for the first time, it's a magic we all experienced at one point and love seeing the awe a new fan feels when they realize how special they are! They're so passionate and it genuinely radiates into us as a fandom. Please continue showing us your full and unedited videos, no matter how long it is. We're with you on this journey.:)
Thank you so much!! That really means a lot and I appreciate you taking the time to say so! Thank you so much for watching and I shall be in Atiny's care!
I HAD A FLOOR TICKET TOO !! truly life-changing , wooyoung is my ult and i had so many interactions with him !! people around me kept telling me how lucky i was to fr be his favorite person in the crowd . (he first noticed me during soundcheck when i showed him my "latinas for jung wooyoung" sign , and after that he recognized me)
Oh Yes totally :) you should Watch Cyberpunk Live or inception :) but there are so many Good songs. Also will see them this year for the first time as well. Looking so mich forward to it :D
@@atgnireactions5343 The concert was the best concert I have ever been. And I as I like Seonghwa the most...he absolutely killed it. His performance was sooooo good. His dance and expressions and singing. But all of Ateez. Performance masters 😀
You are absolutely right about the movie Equilibrium!!! It explains a lot about the Ateez universe. Please watch Guerrilla mv, but watch the 2 trailers before that. They're called the World Movement trailer 1 and 2. I think you will understand their concept a lot better. Also this is my personal opinion, but I always thought ATEEZ are less Pirates of the Caribbean and more pirates of the airwaves, like hacking a broadcast signal to transmit their message to the world. If that makes any sense.
34:49 for knowing nothing about their storyline, your assessments are pretty spot on! I can’t wait until you take the deep dive and find out what their story is all about.
@@atgnireactions5343 Jongho was the main vocal of Shax, and Yunho, Seonghwa, and San were part of Sparkling. Yunho was the second male lead, the one who originally liked his friend from Tea Party, but ended up with a different girl from that group. Shax also had a few members from the group SF9.
As for them being pirates, think more in concept rather than execution! They're pirates in the way that they're on their own journey and taking what is theirs with a crew of people and traveling (but through time and space) . Ateez hasn't really committed to a typical pirate theme otherwise, except for a flying pirate ship and their music having a pirate vibe! I did floor for both concert days in LA and though I was tired it was SO WORTH IT. I hope you have a great time
Love that you love our rappers. What's also great about them is they can also sing!! If you want to talk about ATEEZ vocals, check out some of their slow songs and performances: "Turbulence" from It's Live and "Not Too Late" from Weekly Idol. And if you want to talk about dancing and performing, check out the KQ Fellaz dance performances which came out before their official debut (not to be confused with KQ Fellaz 2 - who are their juniors about to debut soon). KQ are a small company, ATEEZ being their first and only active group at the moment, but that doesn't stop them from going all out. That's why we stan. KQ and ATEEZ are so extra and all their efforts are so commendable. The ATEEZ storyline is quite complex and involves alternate dimensions, time travel (possibly), dystopian societies, corrupt governments, etc. For a really quick crash course, I would recommend watching the Diary Film and then the Movement trailers, but ATEEZ and KQ have not even revealed 50% of their storyline yet.
i think the bead is one of two things , first it might be containing the voices/emotions of the citizens of strictland , or second it might be whats caused the gravity to be gone (in the trailer we found out that there is no more gravity in strictland) these are 2 good reasons i could come up with for why they are trying to pull it down and reverse whatever affect that bead is doing or what it contains
You are going to be stunned at their concert! I saw them in Paris last year, and I'm going to see them again in Paris in March (and I booked a ticket for both show in March!). They are incredible on stage. I'm sorry I can't find the words to explain how fantastic they are since English is not my firt language, but man, they kill it! I hope you'll enjoy it too!!
Wow, I love how detailed and genuine this reaction is. And you have such good taste! I'm also Seonghwa biased. He is an incredible performer but also such an elegant and precise dancer + super stable and versatile vocalist. He is so multi talented
Yay! Fellow Hwa bias friend!! He is incredible, multi talented indeed, and he's just so cute! I watched his and Hongjoong's ASMR video... it was... something hahaha
also, listen, I'm in Bangkok now and I planned to travel in Asia for the whole first part of 2023, then they announced this European mini-tour and I'm flying up to Madrid for them and relocating to Spain instead. I'm in deep credit card debt bc of it but it's so worth it. I can earn the money back but you never know when they get back to Europe and the song lineup for the tour is insane. All that and I've started learning their names this past October. I know talent when I see it!
Idea for a Tshirt btw, Seonghwa is known as Toothless (from how to train your dragon) so you could use his face and toothless in the same picture? there is plenty around, he knows all about it and loves it!
You should listen to Answer, it is amazing, not a lot of dance, but the vocals are epic (as always). And did you notice that Yunho is sitting in a broken hourglass in the MV?
I’m surprised at how quickly you’ve been able to learn their names and faces. Also love that you’re seeing them in concert. You’re definitely going to love it. In case you want to catch up on some of the songs that will be part of their setlist. The next songs I recommend would be Answer Sector 1- No MV but they did do a music show performance on The Show. Say my Name Hala Hala Illusion Wave Fireworks Rocky Guerrilla Turbulence The Real Also side note: Your not bugging. Yunho was in Imitation. As was Jongho, Seonghwa and San 😂 Also I like to think of Halazia as a sort of prayer that their saying before going to war with the government their fighting in their storyline. Hope that sheds a different perspective.
I actually try really hard to learn new groups, especially after taking forever to learn Red Velvet, and there are only 5 of them! So I make it a personal mission to learn the members of new groups. As for the concert, that was just really lucky tbf most the tickets had gone and I wouldn't have done it if I didn't seriously enjoy what I heard... and that was one song! I shall definitely check out some of these suggestions before the concert, thank you so much!
@@atgnireactions5343 I respect it. It took me awhile to put names to faces lol. And I already know you’ll enjoy the concert but good luck with being on the floor though 😂
im Seonghwa biased too 😁 he is just so amazing, all of them are, but Seonghwa collected my soul without me even noticing when it happened, and there is no way back. looking forward to see your journey with Ateez 😊 i recommend Guerilla mv next and Cyberpunk performance on Music Bank as well. Cyberpunk is my fave b-side 😁
Honestly, buying the ticket was the right choice. I missed them when they came in early 2022 and I regretted it so much, but they came back to the States in November. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Halazia. 😭😭😭 They're kind of a modern take on pirates, more like treasure seekers. Universe A leans more pirates, but Universe Z could still be considered the same--the treasure they're seeking is freedom. As concert prep, you definitely need to see Guerrilla next. The last part of the fan chant is easy, "Break the Wall" and you're going to want to be yelling along with everyone. You're going to love the MV because it looks like it was inspired by Equilibrium. For Guerrilla's album, The World EP 1: Movement, they released a clip and then 2 teasers that were designed to get everyone caught up on the backstory. The video makes more sense if you watch them first. ATEEZ Wake Up, The World ruclips.net/video/1h8alt7d4OI/видео.html ATEEZ The World Movement Trailer 1 ruclips.net/video/O7Tc4sW2gho/видео.html ATEEZ The World Movement Trailer 2 ruclips.net/video/MXlPrPBylB4/видео.html You're going to love the dance practice! After that I suggest, their recent Japanese release, Paradigm, and the prologue for Halazia (ruclips.net/video/hiNMuSOFDZY/видео.html) so you'll be caught up on Universe Z.
I am convinced by everyone's comments it was the right choice also! Oh I am so sorry you didn't get to see them the first time! If we do get Halazia I'll melt haha Ok Guerrilla next gotcha! Thank you so much for pointing me in a direction!
If you’re going to fully submerge into the Ateez fandom you will realize QUICKLY that Ateez has a storyline and it’s very heavily shown through their MVs. It’s complicated and intricate but like you said their world building is amazing. They were on kingdom legendary war with stray kids and a bunch of others and STILL CONTINUE WITH THEIR LORE WITHIN THE SHOW. They’re amazing. Full stop. I’m excited to watch you learn everyone and start to get a grasp of the story. It’s well worth it. I promise. ❤ Just to kinda help with a little bit of the lore aspect in this video; In a very generalized summary this song is a "prayer/ call for help" to Ateez from people of the "Strickland" where all emotions have been taken away(usually seen being taken in the form of small black marbles). The often referred to as the "dark side" of ateez, aka Halateez, aren't actually bad guys. (You'll see them in other MVs like Say My Name, Hala Hala, Answer, etc...) They're from Strickland, and they're trying to fight for freedom of the people, but they fail. Which is what the scarecrow represents in the video. The OG Ateez is now taking over to help the people break free. In the end, when San gets hit with the huge ball, it's actually a part of the collection of all the emotions that have been taken away from the people. So, in the end, we watched San get his emotions back. But as with all ateez songs, they leave everything open to interpretation so everyone can find their own relation to the lyrics in their lives as well. Idk if any of that made sense, but I tried lmao. 💌
Thank you for this ATEEZ reaction! For me, ATEEZ is THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST in KPop, especially 4th generation, and they are far ahead of their time and always EPIC in their music, performance and storytelling. Their storyline/lore is super exciting & intriguing, but a bit complicated, as it involves pirates/rebels/guerrillas, time travel and alternate universes, including a dystopian society, where ATEEZ must now take over for HALATEEZ (the alternate version of themselves in this dystopian world called Strickland). HALATEEZ are rebels/anarchists who wear the all black outfits and fedora hats and the facemasks. Watch their MV's: Hala Hala, Say My Name, and Answer. They (Halateez and now ATEEZ) are all in a fight for freedom of art, emotion & expression (that has been taken away by government leaders) in this dystopian world. Also, since their debut, the storyline, including whatever is happening in each of their MV's, weaves in & out of different time periods, (past, present, future), along with the different universes. And so the lore is about ATEEZ'S full journey in all of this. Their storyline goes all the way back to their debut and pretty much every single music video and every song that they have connects - in some way or another - to the lore. There are quite a few RUclips videos that explain the storyline or at least have theories about the lore. But for now, this will help explain HALAZIA a bit more. Watch their prologue/trailer for HALAZIA: ruclips.net/video/hiNMuSOFDZY/видео.html Also, remember that in the ATEEZ lore, "HALA" means "Hearts Awakened, Live Alive" and "Zia" means "Light" - which is why they chant "Be The Light, HALAZIA!" 🔥❤️ Please watch their MV Guerilla, but before you watch that MV, you MUST watch the two MV trailers for Guerilla (you will be MESMERIZED and it will help make more sense of their amazing storyline). ❤️
ATEEZ never take it easy on themselves. Their dance practices are full on performances in their minds, they give it everything. I saw a performance clip recently where, during some intense choreo, Yunho got a nosebleed. He ignored it and kept going. I wish they wouldn't hurt themselves in the process but performing is too important to them for them to ever not give it 100%.
I’m Seonghwa and San biased 💛 so excited for your Ateez journey!! I’m so excited for you to see them in concert! I’ve been to their concert three times and their live performance is absolutely stunning and never misses! Never apologize for the length of the video! We love to hear the feedback and your true thoughts. Have a lovely day 🤗
@@atgnireactions5343 DEFINITELY worth it , that day is still what keeps me going :) wooyoung is my ult of ults in all kpop (i stan like 20 groups) and i became like his favorite person that night with all the interactions i had , so i keep those videos and memorites close with me at all times~
aw you are so sweet! i hope people werent too mean to you last reaction about the dance comment, you dont have to beat yourself up about it 💕 im so glad you got a ticket to go see them, you will not regret it! its a once in a lifetime experience! also, im telling you now, that seonghwa has had me under a spell for 4 years now and there is really no hope of getting out of it, we are trapped forever 😭👍
Noooo not at all people were just laughing and letting me know the dealio with ATEEZ, nothing mean what-so-ever! I cannot wait to see them! Yeah I can totally see why... the man is something else...
Mingi is huge & he's very muscular, but he's also one of the softest people you'll ever know. It's San, Jongho & Hongjoong you need to be afraid of. San's taekwondo trained (dad owns & runs a dojo). Jongho splits fruits barehanded & can probably bust an ear drum if he sings to near you. Hongjoong runs this chaotic crew & no one wants him to say "Go to my room." Yeosang is the 2nd strongest behind Jongho. Yunho & Seonghwa both have the 'I'm disappointed in you' mom look that makes you wither. (Yunho mad is hot as hell tho.) If Hongjoong & Mingi are your rap favs, wait until you find out Seonghwa & Jongho both rap. Seonghwa raps in Dreamers, which is their Japanese release. T-shirt idea: Pained Seonghwa face with the saying "It's ALWAYS Wooyoung". You're going to love watching them live! I was just glad my phone died before Rocky & Cyberpunk, otherwise it would've been thrown. Let me feed your crush! ruclips.net/video/4lLDf7trKIc/видео.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE youtube.com/watch?v=83y5a3- ruclips.net/video/sWPU20KA3zM/видео.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE ruclips.net/video/1OjlDlyanXU/видео.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE ruclips.net/video/WVjojzl4PnM/видео.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE ruclips.net/video/5_4LeIBwpBk/видео.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE ruclips.net/video/ZvMn5bu346Y/видео.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE I highly recommend a live of Cyberpunk. It's Seonghwa's fav & he really feels himself in the dance.
the album is "from the witness" , the people at the end were the witnesses , and i think it goes beyond that , i think the entire song is a letter written in the journal (kq put up a poster in some random place in korea that had a qr code and when a fan scanned it , it led to a secret instagram acc that continued to drop spoilers up until the release of halazia ,, one of the spoilers was a journal) and the witnesses wrote it to ateez to save them (this entire mv is from the witnesses pov) and they called ateez "halazia" which is why they said "be the light oh halazia" (as im sure someone by now has told you that halateez were the ateez in this dimension but they wore all black , and the government took away everyones emotions and is controlling the people , so halateez reached out to ateez to help them free the people of their dimension from the mind control , but halateez were caught and k worded , this is what the scarecrow signifies and why ateez burned it) so ateez arrived in strictland (halateez's dimension) and now we are seeing what is going on from then on forth , but now im thinking ateez is now "halazia" aka "the new eight" (a spoiler said in the trailer)
As someone who only watched them once before I’m amazed how you can recognize the members already, knowing that there are many kpop reactors who have been reacting to Ateez for several years yet still can’t remember them individually, thank you for loving them 😭 as a fellow Seonghwa biased person, once you start there’s no going back, even tho I get bias wrecked every day by the rest of the members 🥹 Also you will love seeing them at the concert! They are truly the best performers and give their everything on the stage every time! I’m going to Berlin as well! Hope to see vlog as well 🫶 Welcome on board! Edit: 4 members were actually acting in the drama Imitation 😭, Jongho, Yunho, San and Seonghwa 🥹
yunho is in the cromer 👀 the lore is definitely heavy with this one!! the comeback “spin off: from the witness” is like a letter from the witnesses who are those people at the end who saw San pull the giant moon ball thing down :) as for the scarecrow/fedora: the hala hala, say my name, and answer music videos can explain a bit of who/what the scarecrow is :) love watching your ateez journey!!!
When I saw the run time on this video, I was like, "but why, though!?" and now I get it. Your conjectures are spot on from what little content you've actually seen. It's clear you read all the hundreds of comments left on your Wonderland response, and you're amazing at this! The prologue to Halazia gives us _some_ clue if you're following their lore already, but you're doing so well that I'm floored. I want to recommend Guerrilla because it explains a lot about where we are right now, but then I also want you to back up and go through all the MVs in release order so you can look for all the little clues and Easter eggs they've given us (see: HalATEEZ in Illusion). The fact that you bought a concert ticket after watching only these two made me subscribe. This was a fantastic choice on your part, and you will NOT regret getting floor tickets. I'm totally rooting for you getting a Seonghwa face-to-face moment there. Man crushing Seonghwa is completely relatable. He's bee-yoo-tee-ful in every possible way. He's also a SW acknowledged Jedi Master, in case that helps you with the t-shirt. Maybe list that you want to be his apprentice? They haven't started the European leg of their tour yet (Amsterdam Feb 10), and have added two songs -- Paradigm (Japanese single) and Halazia -- since their US tour ended in December 2022. And you're so cute about Mingi. He's our princess marshmallow, and that you don't want to get into a fight with him is awesome. Wait until you learn/see more from him off stage and learn more of his personality. . ;) Thank you for loving them like you do. Of course we ATINY understand it, but it's so wonderful when we get enthusiasm like yours. Thank you!
I honestly think the same... XD I always feel really bad it's so long so totally understand if people skip it! And I do try to read everyone's comments! I really appreciate people taking the time to watch the videos, and even more so for taking the time to write a comment, even if it's just a "Thanks for reacting" message. I love seeing people's enthusiasm for their groups and it makes me more enthusiastic and I get so much more engrossed in a group as a result. I do try to go back to the start of a group, I am doing so with Red Velvet, after SKZ Replay we'll go back to the start of Stray Kids, and after the concert I plan to go back to the start of ATEEZ. And any other group we check out in the future will probably be the same :) Omo! Thank you so much, I do hope so also although if I do see him and he see's me I might melt XD HE'S A JEDI MASTER!!! NOPE, THAT'S IT!! CONFIRMED BIAS FOR ALL OF TIME!!! Interesting about the set list, because plenty of people have said they WON'T be playing Halazia and this was said by one of the members at a fan meet. So i'll be interested to see what happens there. Princess Marshmallow XDDD STOP!! The man's a unit you cannot tell me he's a Princess like that hahaha I look forward to seeing more of his personality then!
@@atgnireactions5343 Ah, I hadn't heard that they would skip Halazia on the set list. It's funny because Halazia was a "throwaway" sort of drop, being a single on a mini-album of remixes. I think everyone was surprised first that it dropped, and then that it did mad numbers. Despite its single status (heh), it got them more first-day sales than even The World, which was a true comeback release with Guerrilla (which I would highly recommend you watch before the concert so you know when to scream "break the wall" appropriately and why to scream it!). Granted, I think the video definitely got people's attention, but I'm not sure it's even their best video to date. I'll look forward to your journey with our pirate kings. Their lore is both deep and wide, which resonates with the loreTINY types, myself included. So many fun things to think about, see, and explore. Seonghwa is amazing in so many ways, totally bias-worthy. The more you know, the more you love our mathyung (eldest). Princess marshmallow is really the sweetest, though, despite all stage/video views to the contrary. He's slightly shorter than Yunho, he just reads really tall when you just see him alone. It's the dance prowess and physical movement, but his personality is sweet and fluffy. He's the one I most want to bubble wrap for safety because he's so immensely precious. I'm OT8 biased, so that's saying something!
For the fedora lore, you need to watch HALA HALA. Also I'm pretty sure the small group/ pair choreo happens in a certain room from their Answer MV. They’re so dang good lol
Gotta love fedora lore XD ok I shall make sure we check out Hala Hala!! And I shall keep an eye out for the room when we check out Answer! Thank you so much for the heads up!
Thank you for your sincere reaction. Ateez are known for their live performances, powerful dances and crazy energy, I would even say that they're not the most synchronized group and each member has their own dance style. Actually 4 of Ateez were in Imitation. Yunho in one of the main roles, the main character's rival. His group Sparkling also included Seonghwa and San (pink hair). Jongho (red hair) was in Shax, the group of main character :) Also, I just want to say that you don't have to worry so much about the members' names, the pronunciation, or time on the guide video. As Atiny we just love when someone starts to get to know Ateez, even if you don't like a certain song or choreo, you can be honest about it since everyone has their favorites.
San and Seonghwa keep fighting over who's my Ateez bias but I will admit in this song and MV, Yeosang said step back lads, it's me 😍 Halazia has a lot of callbacks to other ateez music videos, so I'm curious if you'll find some similar sounds and visuals in some other mvs. I highly recommend returning to Halazia after seeing more of them! Halazia's a continuation of Ateez mind boggling lore and story line, I'm not educated enough to explain it more than it sounded like you got from looking it up, and you SHOULD be confused being dropped in the middle of it😂 but I think you were onto something with the Equilibrium comparison! 3 MVs that tie directly into Halazia is Say My Name, Hala Hala and Guerrilla. (did I just make you more confused? good, welcome to the club)
aahhh i'm loving watching your ateez journey 🙏🙏 dont we all have a crush on seonghwa lmao some mvs i recommend: the real (absolute fav mv of all time) + it doesn't have a dance practice but the performances are amazing guerrilla thanxx inception the black cat nero pirate king wave fireworks (mingi was on hiatus during this)
okay back after watching your reaction: i loved how on point the cinematography is for this mv (and for any of their mvs tbh) because the muted colors and desolation pointed you in the right direction for the theme of the song! also it's very much fine to take as much time as you want to react, i love longer reactions from time to time because it's fun having someone nerding out about all the aspects of stuff we love :3 for the pirate aspect, i think it has more to do with how pirates are seen as this symbol of freedom, living life your own way, but also a symbol of loyalty and camaraderie as well as the fact that literally anyone could be a pirate regardless of gender, societal hierarchy or any kind of orientation. not to mention some super known pirates stood up against awful governments back then. i think that might be partly why they went with the pirate imagery. i personally think that halazia serves as both a prayer and a shanty of sorts? the prayer seems fairly obvious ("be the light oh halazia" "clear the darkness oh halazia" mingi's lines about having one wish granted, the choreo moves for yunho/seonghwa that clearly resemble someone signing themselves in prayer 🤞🏼, the whole part with center seonghwa towarde the end that definitely bears resemblance with any kind of divinity or someone being enlightened while praying, halateez "scarecrow" that acts as the figure being prayed upon). for the shanty part, my knowledge is limited but from what i know, shanty were sung while sailors/pirates were working to keep them entertained all the while they had to keep their rhythm going for some of their tasks. some shanty also were extremely haunting for some and depicted awful destinies encountered by sailors while at sea, doomed lovers, innocents perishing in vain and so on. there's both the rhythm thing going on and the distinctively haunting side as well in halazia and the mv supports that as well visually. in general, ateez's lore is pretty rich and each new comeback adds more layers to it and it's fascinating watching the world building growth and the story progression! for more pirate-y/shanty type songs, i highly recommend don't stop, wave and thanxx :3 thanxx and don't stop have that raw/rough side to it while wave is a more upbeat and positive vibe in its style ^-^
This this such a great comment! I love the distinction you've made between the two parts about it being both a prayer and a shanty (of sorts), and I do agree with you the prayer bits of the mv being really obvious. I shall definitely have to have a look at those suggestions in the future! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful comment! And for the suggestions!
@@atgnireactions5343 aaah, you're welcome, only found your channel recently but it's such a pleasure to watch you discover both ateez and stray kids! will be patiently waiting for the next notification and honestly don't worry about the length of your reactions: i love nothing more than sitting down after a long day and watching someone having fun and being blown away while watching cool and sweet artists doing their thing ^-^
Never apologise for the length of your vids! We love seeing your journey unfold in full and so long as your reaction is genuine, we’ll be watching no matter how long. Ahh now I also want to rewatch Imitation starring BF material Yunho 😅
I saw them in December and omg one of the BEST kpop concerts I have ever seen (and that is saying alot!) I am so excited for you, they put on an amazing show :D I had floor by the stage, I was in so much pain by the end of the night but damn it was worth it!!! Have an amazing time!! :D
It’s great that you get the Equilibrium vibes! In Kingdom (survival show, and there’s also SKZ there) - they did a remake of IKON’s Rhythm Ta and the words from the movie Equilibrium is actually used as the opening (if you love the movie you will recognize it right away!) Also the Equilibrium theme is so much more reflected in their Guerrilla MV (and the whole World Movement album).
Thank you! I will eventually get round to watching Kingdom Legendary War, just don't know when! Equilibrium is such a great movie imo XD so i love that they used it as inspo. Well I look forward to Guerrilla! It's next on our ATEEZ watch list!
@@atgnireactions5343 I’ll definitely watch your reaction to Guerrilla and don’t forget to do the whole analysis comparing it with Equilibrium haha just kidding! Enjoy the MV :)
I can’t believe someone recognized Yunho because of imitation oh my god, Yunho would be so proud to know this KAJSKAKSKSJ Please react to Guerrilla or Inception next!!
Haha I am usually so good with recognising people so I don't know how I didn't make the connection quicker! Yunho is so good in it, as are the other 3 (now I know it's them XD) I do believe Guerrilla is next on the list!
I love that you appreciated their vocals immediately. They are monster performers and get a lot of praise for it (rightfully so) but people often forget that they have such powerful rappers and beautiful vocalists too! Truly a well-rounded group, if I may say so. It's amazing that you even talked about Equilibruim! You'll understand why after reading the storyline and watching the Guerrilla MV. As for the storyline, a short summary - and a lot of it is metaphorical. These 8 guys start of as normal bunch of friends (Fever series) who are basically youth struggling with their own fears, identities, relationships but find comfort with each other. They bond through their own desire for freedom and self-expression in their individual lives but are split due to certain circumstances. Hongjoong, the leader/captain, is given the chance to set things straight and bring the boys back together when a mysterious Man in the Black Fedora (also known as the Black Pirates- or as the fandom likes to call them- Halateez) gives him an hourglass called Cromer which has the ability to turn time as well as shift dimensions. Hongjoong manages to use the Cromer to get the members back but they are transported to the future/another dimension. They come to a place called Strictland(the one you see in Halazia and Guerrilla MVs). This new dimension is one ruled by a tyrannical government. Music, art, and expression are banned, as this government deemed emotion to be a weakness in their ''perfect'' / ''utopian'' society. In response to this, 8 men with masks and fedoras to hide their identities began performing music and dance in the streets to wake up the citizens who have lost their ability to express. They attracted more and more people, eventually creating a resistance called ‘Black Pirates’ (the same ones who approach Hongjoong later on). Obviously the government wanted to crush the Black Pirates rebellion and manages to capture them (the Halateez effigy in the beginning of the MV). This is where Halazia begins. It's from the POV of a witness - the citizens of Strictland and how they see our 8 men, who have now arrived at the dystopia take over the work that Halateez began and to lead the anarchist movement (guerrilla) and save the citizens of Strictland. A 'rallying song' or a 'prayer' is such a perfect way to describe the song! That ball that's floating - it's my theory (not confirmed) but I think it's the emotions and memories that the government has harvested from the citizens and condensed. It could be a visual representation - it's chained up/blocked and San finally frees it. ruclips.net/video/hiNMuSOFDZY/видео.html this trailer might be helpful as well. This is a very short and simple summary for such a deep, meaningful and rich ATEEZverse. So I hope it helps. I think as you keep watching the MVs and other content the storyline becomes much more clear. The lyrics also reference the storyline but I just want to say that - a lot of this can be metaphorical. It can mean anything you want it to mean, so I hope you have lots of fun discovering ATEEZ's message and what it can mean to you, personally. As ATEEZ, always ask us, ''What is your Treasure?'' ruclips.net/video/eXubmzAgA10/видео.html edit: just want to say that I usually don't watch reaction videos but yours are really fun! I love how you have a face of pure joy and awe when you react to ateez - totally can relate to it! looking forward to more ATEEZ stuff from you!
You should make a tshirt that says “finally now, it’s my time” it’s an imitation( kdrama starting Yunho, San, Jongho and Seonghwa) line and became a viral Ateez meme
Yes, your videos are long but I love how you break it all down. Shows how much you appreciate what you’re watching and not only doing the video for views or subscribers ❤
Thank you! I just like music XD people are free to watch it or not and I appreciate everyone who does. But I also don't think I am that good haha so never expect people to watch or subscribe
@@atgnireactions5343 not true! You are amazing! You’ve got me saying “that’s slappin “ this past week. 😂 I had never heard that term used before and I loved when you said it so I stole it. Lol
Thank you for the delightful reaction! Congrats on deciding to buy the ticket! I had to fly nearly 1000 miles to see them in November, with very little funds, but it was totally worth it. Bonus that it was Hongjoong's birthday. I didn't get floor because of the standing, but I am considering putting up with the pain if I get the chance to see them again. Since the tour has the same name, it will likely be the same or very close to what we saw in North America, so here are some tips to enjoy it more... You know about the Cromer, good. You should know during crescent moons it can send messages through dreams, and during a full moon you can travel between dimensions. This is important. Things to watch before the tour: The Halateez videos: *HALA HALA Official MV (Performance Ver.) *Say My Name MV *Answer MV - all iconic and should get a HUGE reaction from the crowd, and clearest (ha) in terms of storyline (will help with Halazia, which also has a Prologue video with more story) This group all together, it's all a connected story/movie (yes, inspired by Equilibrium etc.): *07.29 WAKE UP, THE WORLD - optional 1 min vid that secretly announced the album *The World Movement Official Trailer 1 *The World Movement Official Trailer 2 *Guerrilla Official MV Teaser 1 (but NOT teaser 2, it's just clips of the MV) *Guerrilla MV - These should help you understand parts of the concert better, but I'm not telling you why. There are concert vids out there if you want to look. So basically, 4 big, iconic lore songs, with extra bonus set-up/story/lore videos. If you want to hear everything that was on the N.A. set list, of course that is possible. But these are the big boys I know I would regret not knowing before I saw the show. Everything else I think can be enjoyed by a newbie just fine if you want to be a bit unspoiled. Welcome to Tinytown! I hope you have a BLAST!
Hope you see this! Your t-shirt should say 8 Makes One Team!! That's their tagline. You will NOT regret seeing Ateez live. They are insane. Their energy is so hard in every single song and they sing completely live. They didn't show exhaustion through the entire concerts I went to both concerts in 2022. I'm so jealous if Halazia is on your setlist!! I love your talking and reactions! I wanted to watch the full video before commenting. We LOVE long videos and discussions. ☺️🖤 Ateez pronounce their name as Uh-Teez. Halazia is a combination. Hala means Hearts Awakened Alive and Zia means light. So be the light, Halazia. My interpretation: In this universe they are the Halateez which are Ateez's alter egos. This world is the opposite of Guerrilla because in Guerilla is fighting back but in Halazia the world has been somewhat defeated. But Halateez want to fight back too. You're spot on They travel through universes to try and help Ateez save their world from the opposition of emotion and music. You're right about A to Z. They have been prosecuted and are trying to fight back. The bell tones are like the defeat or death toll. (but they aren't dead it's just how I hear it) The scarecrow is dressed as a Halateez figure. And the hat burned is the hat Halateez wears as if burning their past selves. Yeosang's torn black shirt represents the torn outfits Halateez wears. The ending figures are called the witnesses. I also think they can't travel universes because Seonghwa glitches, Yunho is in the shattered hourglass (cromer), Yeosang is chained, and Wooyoung burns the Halateez hat. And the black flag is torn and tattered. Ateez have a very strong flag theme from the start. The gravity is not present in the falling rocks and the schere. San sacrifices himself but it didn't work and gravity reappears with the falling rain and the blue bird flying. Which is a song on the album called Blue Bird. The blue dressed figures are called the witnesses. They also appear in Guerilla. Their storyline hasn't been completely explained. It is ongoing. I'm not sure what the schere is. But in the concert you'll see it hanging at the ceiling. And maybe Halazia IS an entity that will help save their world.
I shall definitely look at putting that on the t-shirt thank you for the suggestion XD I cannot wait to see them I am getting very excited!! If we get Halazia I will lose my mind I love this song so much, I have been blasting it on repeat whenever I can! I love you interpretation of this song! It's so detailed also!! I did not recognise that Yunho was in a shattered ver. of the Cromer!! Thank you so much for pointing it out!
@@atgnireactions5343 no problem! Iove exploring theories because Ateez are so mysterious with giving us small bites of the storyline. Hongjoong said it's been completely written by the time they debuted. Ahhh. So awesome but so frustrating to want to know more!! You'll have to let us know details about the tour and how you loved it!!
@@atgnireactions5343 regrading pronunciation of their name, there can be some confusion because it sounds a little different in Korean vs. English. At all the shows I’ve been to in the states they’ve always said “A-teez” (with a long A, they way you said it in this video), and the fandom as “A-tiny” (long A + the “tiny” part of the word “destiny”, although sometimes it sounds more like “A-teeny” depending on who’s speaking). But the Korean spelling for Ateez is 에이티즈 - the first character “ㅔ“ is pronounced kind of like “eh” and the 2nd “ㅣ” is “ee” (the “ㅇ“ is silent here). I think it kind of comes down to which sounds and syllables you put the stress on. 😊
In one video I watched (regarding their deleted live) it mentions the bell can possibly relate back to how on ships the bell tolls every time the hourglass is turned. Also, it rings 8 times I think? I'm not sure how accurate it is in relation, though.
You understand!!! Solid base foundation, layers, samples, bass, adlibs, instrumentals… EDENARY (ateez and dreamcatcher’s producers) are MASTERS at music composition. They are always cooking the songs that messes up my brain chemistry (in good way). I can’t put it into words how much structurally well composed HALAZIA (and most ATEEZ songs) are, but specially HALAZIA, which is almost like a surprise box and you WILL be impressed at each passing second of this.
I recommend you watch "The World : Movement" Official trailer 1 and 2 to get to know the story better. You are very close with your comment about Equilibrium :) Their european tour starts on 10/2 in Amsterdam and ends on 7/3 in Paris. Thanks for the reaction! :)
Welcome onboard the 🏴☠️ 🚢 pirate ship our new babytiny❤️ ..im glad you love Ateez as much as we do and decided to be part of the fandom.. im sure u won’t regret your decision ..this is gonna be a beautiful yet emotional journey from now on 🫂
Ateez and Hongjoong have said their mvs/performances make references to movies/shows like Equilibrium, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Divergent, Money Heist , Inception, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Max, Pirates of the Caribbean
i have to say that there's something slightly creepy in the song with the bells and the organ, and seonghwa feels almost like a holy figure in this one. ateez are indeed performance kings and i'm absolutely obsessed with halazia, especially yeosang's deep part, it took me by surprise and got me on my knees
really not because i love them but they don't have any bad songs and their b side songs are even better btw hongjoong (i loved that u r already call him captain lol) produce a lot of ateez songs also he and mingi write their rap lines in every song. about jongho u didn't hear anything this man can do yet he is just amazing u have a good taste too seonghwa is everything but when u know them well all of them have their amazing moment to shine they are very powerful specially on stage so i am so happy that u will see them live
My bias is almost half the group, lol. Yeosang, Yunho & San…but I love all of them. I’m a Stay & Atiny, I was a Stay first but I love seeing Ateez getting more attention, they deserve it. Would definitely recommend Hala Hala performance video, Answer, Say My Name & Wave (a fun, feel good song). ❤
Just wanted to say what an absolutely lovely person you seem to be! You're doing fantastic with the names and it's clear that the will is definitely there! I envy the fact that the thrilling and mind-blowing universe Ateez and KQ have created lays uncharted before you, its pure joy to explore! I definitely don't envy the floor-ticket though, even though I'd immediately trade my neighbours left arm for it without blinking. I'm also old. But I won't retire without seeing Ateez live. Subbed!
thats so funny that you say that abt mingi bc his nickname is "princess" lmaoo he likes it too bc hes our precious little princess ...but then that man goes on stage and is the most badass man ever . i dont understand how he is the same person on and off stage
I’m so pleased you’re enjoying them! Saw them in LA last year and they were truly truly amazing - I think you’re in for a real treat. See you at the London show!
Have you ever seen the movie The Giver? This world reminds me of that, population is controlled, no music, arts or emotions. The MV before this Guerrilla is them fighting back against the government for the people. I think this is the aftermath. Still fighting but city in ruins. They have mini movies you can check out, few minutes long, that explain what the story is before MV. They’re really great. They put so much thought into their storyline
Love your reaction! thank you for checking more ATEEZ. I hope you enjoy more of this incredible group~ Maybe you can check the trailer for this comeback, it explain a little bit more of the lore... Also if you react to "Guerrilla" I recommend check the trailer of that too, It's worth it
I love you. You appreciate the boys the way they truly deserve. They really are SOOO talented and incredible. They quickly became my ult once I came across them. They're the most powerful group I've come across, and they continue to blow my mind years later, lol. And they truly are better live. They won't disappoint. You've still got a long journey ahead of you, and it'll only get better. I can promise that. Thank you so much for your reactions, and I can't wait to go on your journey with you 🙏
This song took me probably 3 days to process. My brain was protecting my heart. Once it broke through I was sobbing. So proud of how much amazing lines and center choreo that YeoSang got. And I hope everyone really realizes he should be included in the demon line. He’s our demon Doberman. He is outstanding. Cannot wait for the next cb as usual. They always leave us wanting more. And ATEEZ LIVE!!! I’ve seen them 4 times over the last two tours. Nothing can compare. JongHo will blow your mind. They all will.
Your reaction has been a delight! You're really good at identifying them too, wow! And yes, 4 of them were in Imitation, 2 in bigger roles and 2 supporting :) As for Seonghwa, that's valid. I can't wait to see you watch Deja Vu, especially if you watch some music show stages - there's siren Seonghwa (MCountdown) and ponytail Seonghwa (Inkigayo) waiting for you :) Same with Fireworks, you'll love him there, I bet. And Mingi, god, yes, he's so impressive. He's so powerful live that he makes venues literally shake. For Halazia my fav Mingi fancam is MCountdown, he's a beast there, even more than usual. He is super soft off stage though, you'll see, same as San and Seonghwa (all of them in slightly different ways). I can't believe you've mentioned Equilibrium, all lore-invested Atiny know it because it's one of the foundational texts of their worldbuilding! Be on the lookout for quotes and visual references in the Guerrilla MV and the Kingdom stage for their cover of Rhythm Ta, once you get there. To answer some of your questions, well, first of all, some things we don't know yet. Hongjoong has been very carefully avoiding explaining what "Halazia" means, apart from it being a reference to Hala Hala, we also don't know what the dark sphere is. My bet is that we'll find out later. It wouldn't be the first time, for example, they showed us Yeosang trapped in a glass box in Say My Name right after their debut and explained what that scene meant over 2 years later. It's a fun game and it is supposed to make us confused, sometimes with misleading clues, sometimes by putting things in a completely new context later on. Anyway, it's less that they have outgrown the pirate concept and more that they haven't actually gotten there yet? It's a bit hard to explain, but as you said, chronologically Treasure is after Fever but also partially parallel to it, and The World comes after both of them, but it's even more complicated than that. They haven't been revealing their story chronologically or in a linear way, especially during Treasure. Basically, Treasure was all about establishing the pirate concept, especially in the lyrics. It's not historical pirates though, it's more like guys on a journey across rough seas looking for their metaphorical treasure. Peter Pan and Lost Boys were significant building blocks for their identity, so you might think about them as grown-up Lost Boys with a flying ship (there is also some content where they are space pirates but I'm pretty sure that's alternate universes :)). We assume that their debut MVs show them as pirates later on in the story and the chronology of the other Treasure series MV is a little hazy. Say My Name and Hala Hala jump ahead in time, we know that some scenes from SMN happen at the end of the Fever series because they're described in the Fever album text. I can't say when are Illusion and Wave set, my guess would be before Fever though, and the same with Wonderland. Then Answer is IMHO set at the very end of Fever and right before The World. I think of the whole Treasure series as a sort of trailer or a highlight reel for their actual story that starts with Fever. Fever is a bit easier to track. It starts with a prologue video, Diary Film, which shows Ateez as teenagers in the A universe and shows how they get pulled to the Z universe by their darker counterparts we call Halateez (officially called Black Pirates). The Diary text from their albums actually explains the story quite clearly, even if there are some obvious gaps in it (on purpose) and matching the MVs to text is a challenge. The Z universe is the Equilibrium/Fahrenheit 451 world - emotions are controlled and eradicated, art is banned, people's voices, memories, identities are taken away - it's all very dystopian and cyberpunk and even a bit postapocalyptic at times. That's what you can see in the Halazia MV - it's told from a point of view of a citizen of that world, it seems to be a sort of emotional impression of the time Halateez disappeared (they were captured at one point) and the person from the lyrics is calling for someone to come and save them, and apparently, Ateez appear. It's actually set before Guerilla, so if you watch it you'll see what happens next (the new series has two trailers and a teaser that help with worldbuilding/exposition, I recommend watching them if you're interested in following the story). They already did North America in December and Europe will start with Amsterdam (Feb 10th) and finish in Paris (Mar 7th). I'll be on the lookout for you in London! It might make sense to watch a couple of songs in different styles from those high-energy ones before the concert so that you won't be surprised though. May I suggest Illusion (super cute and fun and they will most probably have it on the London playlist) and one of the more emotional b-sides like Mist, Turbulence or Sunrise (all were on the American setlist)? As for Seonghwa's t-shirt, maybe watch some Seonghwa-themed compilations like "Iconic Seonghwa moments we should never forget"? Otherwise, he's the oldest, the mom of the group, so he's either infinitely patient or loses his sh!t in a minute, he used to be the one responsible for herding cats, i.e. the younger members but thankfully they're all grown up now and the dynamic is much more egalitarian, he's very skilled in utilising his charisma, he's super soft but has the dorkiest sense of humour and a penchant of creating memes and he's never embarrassed about it, he's habitually a victim of teasing from others, especially Woosan, he's the master of girl group choreos, he's such a fan of Lego and Star Wars he gets sets from Lego he puts together during super long youtube lives and he was officially named a Jedi Master, he has a subunit called Matz (as the oldest) with Hongjoong in which Hwa demands attention and affection and Hongjoong plays a tsundere, he's also a huge ASMR enthusiast. PS. Have you seen the Idol Radio ep with Dreamcatcher where Hongjoong and Yunho were hosts?
Him: the visual here is so mute so emotionless…
Me: LMAO HE GOT THE FULL LORE JUST WITH ONE MV WHILE WE LITERALLY WENT THROUGH YEARS AND SONGS TO UNDERSTAND THAT PART 😅
Hahaha I wouldn't say I got the full lore but thank you so much I loved this comment XD
Mingi likes to be called princess… he is big but fluffy on the inside
Love your reaction and how fast you fell in love with the group.

Fix on!
Which you'll soon learn will make your heart do funny things because hearing it will prepare you for a full on attack by Mingi.
Imitation: YAAASS! Yunho played Yujin! Jongho played Hyuk, Seonghwa was Seyoung, and San was Minsu. 🙂
Buying the ticket was the right choice.
Sorry, I should have said "spoiler alert" about the setlist.
And also, if a bias chooses you before the concert, be ready for that to change about 8 times by the end of the concert. ;-)
Thank you for the reaction. Looking forward to seeing your journey into becoming an ATINY.
we aren't sure about Halazia in the setlist tbh the guys are being all smug about it haha. I hope they add it to the setlist tho! It would be so great to watch on a big stage!
@@auroraa1024 Everything is possible with ATEEZ.
half of ateez were on imitation, yunho was yujin, jongho was hyuk, seonghwa was seyoung and san was minsu
I love that. Might have to re-watch it just to properly notice this time!
They are the best in my opinion 😍 love ATEEZ
To give a simple explanation of their storyline:
There are two universes.
The songtext and even choreography is often connected to the storyline :)
If I may recommend an MV: Turbulance is my favorite ATEEZ song. The lyrics are very beautiful und the song shows how diverse ATEEZ can be!
Very succinct explanation!
Lovely explanation but the white masked men are actually androids and there are multiple of them! If you're interested in reading the entire known lore I recommend the ateez lore masterdoc
I saw my co-ATINY's recommending your reaction video to Wonderland in Twitter so I went here and watch (I already watch the wonderland Reaction first before this🤗)
Thank you for appreciating our PIRATES 🤗
Sending support from FILOTINY'S (Philippine 🇵🇭 ATINY)🤗
IMITATION!! Yes, Yunho, Jongho, San and Seonghwa act in that drama. Yunho, San and Seonghwa in Sparkling and Jongho in Shaxx. 😍
I can't wait to see them. I will be one of the newest Atiny there haha I'll try and just blend in!
dont apologize !! i enjoyed the FULL reaction , and it would NOT be genuine if you cut it , im telling you rn , we ALL appreciate how you do reactions and there is no reason to change a single thing !!
I think you made a great decision // memory for life
Ateez’s lore is greatly referencing the movie Equilibrium. You can see it especially in their Guerrilla music video and the teaser videos that they released before it, they are like mini movies explaining the lore before the music video was released.
Can I just say I LOVE how you delve into all aspects of the music, mv, lyrics, choreo. It's so refreshing to watch your ateez journey
You can indeed, and can I just say thank you very much for your lovely comment! I really appreciate you saying so and for taking the time to watch them!
I was thinking the same thing! The nuances picked up are so good. Ateez live is something no one should miss.
whats crazy is just recently we found out that kq has only 50-60 staff members ,,, they truly are a small family there
3:20 you are going to have the most amazing time at their concert. You will not regret it!!!!
never forget that they are time travelling, there's no "new storyline", with Ateez the end is the beginning, the lore is so clever that you can baasically add a new dimension/reality without stepping out of the storyline (the end clip of Answer, January 2020, is the beginning of Sector 1, July 2022, same with Thanxx and Fireworks (I'm the one), and many more links and previews.
(he first noticed me during soundcheck when i showed him my "latinas for jung wooyoung" sign , and after that he recognized me)
You're just like me lol❤️ Seonghwa is my bias and is absolutely stunning both visually and vocally🥰
Yeahhh!! Seonghwa supremacy
Oh Yes totally :) you should Watch Cyberpunk Live or inception :) but there are so many Good songs.
Also will see them this year for the first time as well. Looking so mich forward to it :D
@@dora12344. I hope you have a fantastic time!! let me know how you find it
@@atgnireactions5343 The concert was the best concert I have ever been. And I as I like Seonghwa the most...he absolutely killed it. His performance was sooooo good. His dance and expressions and singing. But all of Ateez. Performance masters 😀
They are still pirates at heart, but they are currently in their sci-fi dystopia phase.
He looks a lot like the guy from Imitation because he is the guy from Imitation.
Wait what?! Which one? Yunho??
@@atgnireactions5343 Yunho yes, but also San, Seonghwa and Jongho had parts as supporting characters. Love your reactions ❤
@@atgnireactions5343 Yunho, Seonghwa, Jongho and San.
4 of them were in it?!?! I need to go get my eyes checked how did I fail to notice that?!?!
I hope you have a great time
I only just started getting into Ateez after listening to Guerrilla on repeat. Can’t wait to see your reaction to that because it’s a masterpiece tbh
For a really quick crash course, I would recommend watching the Diary Film and then the Movement trailers, but ATEEZ and KQ have not even revealed 50% of their storyline yet.
i think the bead is one of two things , first it might be containing the voices/emotions of the citizens of strictland , or second it might be whats caused the gravity to be gone (in the trailer we found out that there is no more gravity in strictland)
these are 2 good reasons i could come up with for why they are trying to pull it down and reverse whatever affect that bead is doing or what it contains
Je vais à Paris aussi cette année encore!!
@@emelinebourdin6382 ils pourraient faire 10 concerts, j'irais au 10 lol
I think they definitely have a powerful energy, intensity and a masculine grace.
The next songs I recommend would be
Answer
Sector 1- No MV but they did do a music show performance on The Show.
Say my Name
Hala Hala
Illusion
Wave
Fireworks
Rocky
Guerrilla
Turbulence
The Real
Also side note: Your not bugging. Yunho was in Imitation. As was Jongho, Seonghwa and San 😂
Also I like to think of Halazia as a sort of prayer that their saying before going to war with the government their fighting in their storyline.
Seonghwa is my bias! It's so hard to pick a bias tho honestly 😅 I'm going to their London concert too! I hope you have the best time!
Seonghwa supremacy! But yes I am sure it's near impossible to decide! OH EXCITING!! I hope you have an amazing time also!
im Seonghwa biased too 😁 he is just so amazing, all of them are, but Seonghwa collected my soul without me even noticing when it happened, and there is no way back.
looking forward to see your journey with Ateez 😊 i recommend Guerilla mv next and Cyberpunk performance on Music Bank as well. Cyberpunk is my fave b-side 😁
Bro you're one of us, Seonghwa is my bias and a man crush for me too I gotta say🤣🤣
Yes!! Seonghwa Supremacy!!
Honestly, buying the ticket was the right choice. I missed them when they came in early 2022 and I regretted it so much, but they came back to the States in November. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Halazia. 😭😭😭
They're kind of a modern take on pirates, more like treasure seekers.

If we do get Halazia I'll melt haha
Ok Guerrilla next gotcha!
I promise. ❤
Just to kinda help with a little bit of the lore aspect in this video; In a very generalized summary this song is a "prayer/ call for help" to Ateez from people of the "Strickland" where all emotions have been taken away(usually seen being taken in the form of small black marbles).
Watch their prologue/trailer for HALAZIA:
ruclips.net/video/hiNMuSOFDZY/видео.html
Also, remember that in the ATEEZ lore, "HALA" means "Hearts Awakened, Live Alive" and "Zia" means "Light" - which is why they chant "Be The Light, HALAZIA!" 🔥❤️ Please watch their MV Guerilla, but before you watch that MV, you MUST watch the two MV trailers for Guerilla (you will be MESMERIZED and it will help make more sense of their amazing storyline). ❤️
Cant wait till you get a chance to check out an Ateez guide and discover Mingi’s true personality 😂😂😂 🦄🌸🌈
Have a lovely day 🤗
Fantastic bias choices! Thank you so much! And I am also excited XD 3 times!! They must have been incredible! Have a super blessed day!
Don’t mind the long video appreciate honest reaction and you’re right I did laugh at your previous video regarding your dancing comment 😂😂
I am glad it was amusing XD thank you so much for watching, I do appreciate it!
The concert will be amazing. You won't be disappointed
I recommend Seonghwa’s infamous “pained smile” as a possible starting point for your concert shirt 😬
OMG YOU SECURED A TICKET !! THEY ARE TRULY OUTSTANDING PERFORMERS LIVE , I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST TIME (theres truly no bad seat)

aw you are so sweet! i hope people werent too mean to you last reaction about the dance comment, you dont have to beat yourself up about it 💕
im so glad you got a ticket to go see them, you will not regret it! its a once in a lifetime experience! also, im telling you now, that seonghwa has had me under a spell for 4 years now and there is really no hope of getting out of it, we are trapped forever 😭👍
(Yunho mad is hot as hell tho.)
If Hongjoong & Mingi are your rap favs, wait until you find out Seonghwa & Jongho both rap.

I highly recommend a live of Cyberpunk.
As someone who only watched them once before I’m amazed how you can recognize the members already, knowing that there are many kpop reactors who have been reacting to Ateez for several years yet still can’t remember them individually, thank you for loving them 😭 as a fellow Seonghwa biased person, once you start there’s no going back, even tho I get bias wrecked every day by the rest of the members 🥹
Also you will love seeing them at the concert! They are truly the best performers and give their everything on the stage every time! I’m going to Berlin as well!
Hope to see vlog as well 🫶
Welcome on board!
And any other group we check out in the future will probably be the same :)
Omo!
Thank you for supporting ateez
For the fedora lore, you need to watch HALA HALA. Also I'm pretty sure the small group/ pair choreo happens in a certain room from their Answer MV. They’re so dang good lol
Gotta love fedora lore XD ok I shall make sure we check out Hala Hala!! And I shall keep an eye out for the room when we check out Answer! Thank you so much for the heads up!
@ATG&NI Reactions When you do, please make sure to also react to their M-Countdown Special Stage of Hala Hala!!
Please vlog the concert! It would be interesting to see your experience as a new fan. I’m always intrigued by how new fans react to Ateez.
I shall try my best to do so!
Mingi is actually the princess of the group. He’s a small baby in a giant body. Yunho is also taller than him lol
Jongho (red hair) was in Shax, the group of main character :)
Also, I just want to say that you don't have to worry so much about the members' names, the pronunciation, or time on the guide video. As Atiny we just love when someone starts to get to know Ateez, even if you don't like a certain song or choreo, you can be honest about it since everyone has their favorites.
i love that you try to dissect everything , i appreciate how deep you get into your videos :)
(did I just make you more confused? good, welcome to the club)
aahhh i'm loving watching your ateez journey 🙏🙏 dont we all have a crush on seonghwa lmao
some mvs i recommend:
the real (absolute fav mv of all time) + it doesn't have a dance practice but the performances are amazing
guerrilla
thanxx
inception
the black cat nero
pirate king
wave
fireworks (mingi was on hiatus during this)
okay back after watching your reaction: i loved how on point the cinematography is for this mv (and for any of their mvs tbh) because the muted colors and desolation pointed you in the right direction for the theme of the song!
also it's very much fine to take as much time as you want to react, i love longer reactions from time to time because it's fun having someone nerding out about all the aspects of stuff we love :3
for the pirate aspect, i think it has more to do with how pirates are seen as this symbol of freedom, living life your own way, but also a symbol of loyalty and camaraderie as well as the fact that literally anyone could be a pirate regardless of gender, societal hierarchy or any kind of orientation. not to mention some super known pirates stood up against awful governments back then. i think that might be partly why they went with the pirate imagery.
i personally think that halazia serves as both a prayer and a shanty of sorts? the prayer seems fairly obvious ("be the light oh halazia" "clear the darkness oh halazia" mingi's lines about having one wish granted, the choreo moves for yunho/seonghwa that clearly resemble someone signing themselves in prayer 🤞🏼, the whole part with center seonghwa towarde the end that definitely bears resemblance with any kind of divinity or someone being enlightened while praying, halateez "scarecrow" that acts as the figure being prayed upon).
for the shanty part, my knowledge is limited but from what i know, shanty were sung while sailors/pirates were working to keep them entertained all the while they had to keep their rhythm going for some of their tasks. some shanty also were extremely haunting for some and depicted awful destinies encountered by sailors while at sea, doomed lovers, innocents perishing in vain and so on. there's both the rhythm thing going on and the distinctively haunting side as well in halazia and the mv supports that as well visually.
in general, ateez's lore is pretty rich and each new comeback adds more layers to it and it's fascinating watching the world building growth and the story progression!
for more pirate-y/shanty type songs, i highly recommend don't stop, wave and thanxx :3 thanxx and don't stop have that raw/rough side to it while wave is a more upbeat and positive vibe in its style ^-^
Purchasing floor tickets after analyzing only one song?! I can't not sub. Looking forward to watching your journey with our pirate boys!
Ok well that's super hyped me up for it this morning! Glad you had such an epic time!! I am sure I will be a puddle by the end of it XDDD
I can’t believe someone recognized Yunho because of imitation oh my god, Yunho would be so proud to know this KAJSKAKSKSJ
Please react to Guerrilla or Inception next!!
Haha I am usually so good with recognising people so I don't know how I didn't make the connection quicker! Yunho is so good in it, as are the other 3 (now I know it's them XD)
I do believe Guerrilla is next on the list!
As ATEEZ, always ask us, ''What is your Treasure?''
ruclips.net/video/eXubmzAgA10/видео.html
edit: just want to say that I usually don't watch reaction videos but yours are really fun! I love how you have a face of pure joy and awe when you react to ateez - totally can relate to it! looking forward to more ATEEZ stuff from you!
You should make a tshirt that says “finally now, it’s my time” it’s an imitation( kdrama starting Yunho, San, Jongho and Seonghwa) line and became a viral Ateez meme
mingi is a lovely human dvndjvndk he likes to be called princess so yeah... he´s a cutie pie
Things to watch before the tour:
The Halateez videos:
*HALA HALA Official MV (Performance Ver.)
*Say My Name MV
*Answer MV
- all iconic and should get a HUGE reaction from the crowd, and clearest (ha) in terms of storyline (will help with Halazia, which also has a Prologue video with more story)
This group all together, it's all a connected story/movie (yes, inspired by Equilibrium etc.):
*07.29 WAKE UP, THE WORLD - optional 1 min vid that secretly announced the album
*The World Movement Official Trailer 1
*The World Movement Official Trailer 2
*Guerrilla Official MV Teaser 1 (but NOT teaser 2, it's just clips of the MV)
*Guerrilla MV
- These should help you understand parts of the concert better, but I'm not telling you why.
Ateez pronounce their name as Uh-Teez.
(but they aren't dead it's just how I hear it)
The scarecrow is dressed as a Halateez figure.
@@fig9461 that makes total sense. I just thought, the cromer is broken. So can it be turned in Halazia?
Welcome onboard the 🏴☠️ 🚢 pirate ship our new babytiny❤️ ..im glad you love Ateez as much as we do and decided to be part of the fandom.. im sure u won’t regret your decision ..this is gonna be a beautiful yet emotional journey from now on 🫂
Thank you so much! It's a pleasure to be onboard! I shall be in your care :)
Welcome aboard, friend. It's a pleasure to have you on this journey with us and with Ateez.
can't wait for that ateez guide now! 🥹
HEYY WE BACK FOR THE 2ND ATEEZ REACTION LETS GOOOO , video hasnt even started yet but i already love it bc the caption is so relatable lmao
i have to say that there's something slightly creepy in the song with the bells and the organ, and seonghwa feels almost like a holy figure in this one.
ateez are indeed performance kings and i'm absolutely obsessed with halazia, especially yeosang's deep part, it took me by surprise and got me on my knees
really not because i love them but they don't have any bad songs and their b side songs are even better btw hongjoong (i loved that u r already call him captain lol) produce a lot of ateez songs also he and mingi write their rap lines in every song.
about jongho u didn't hear anything this man can do yet he is just amazing u have a good taste too seonghwa is everything but when u know them well all of them have their amazing moment to shine they are very powerful specially on stage so i am so happy that u will see them live
great reactions, looking forward for more
Thank you so much! Hope they're worth the wait XD
If you watch any of their variety content it will be easy to make your t-shirt. Ateez are one big walking meme. 😆 It's why we love them.
😂🤣🤣🤣 That Ateez vs. Car struggle was tooooooo real.
Subbed!
Thank you so much! Haha yeah the floor ticket is going to be interesting but I am determined to make it through XD I hope you get to see them live!
thats so funny that you say that abt mingi bc his nickname is "princess" lmaoo he likes it too bc hes our precious little princess ...but then that man goes on stage and is the most badass man ever . i dont understand how he is the same person on and off stage
You will not be disappointed with your concert decision!! Loving watching you dive in!
I’m so pleased you’re enjoying them! Saw them in LA last year and they were truly truly amazing - I think you’re in for a real treat. See you at the London show!
I am loving them! Are you coming to the London show! AMAZING!!
Yes! The movie you described sounds exactly what I was tying to explain. Check out their MV Guerrilla that came right before this with the anarchy
Never mind you did. I’m so behind. It only showed 2 videos when I first checked. Now I see it
I love your reactions to Ateez
Thank you so much!
Your reaction has been a delight! You're really good at identifying them too, wow! And yes, 4 of them were in Imitation, 2 in bigger roles and 2 supporting :)
As for Seonghwa, that's valid.
Thank you for reacting to Ateez. I love watching someone discover Ateez they are insanely good. 💜
