- OK I am so so so late to this and ATINY I can only apologize but oh my days was this just incredible! Both these songs are ridiculously good and the message in them is fantastic!! THEY LOOK SO GOOD!! Seriously though I needed a break after finishing this off cause oooh boy were they coming for my life!

The anime vibes are because this is an anime song, it’s an OST which is probably why their rapper tags weren’t included
The slight anime vibes (11:46) come from... Limitless being an anime OST for 'Dual Masters Win.' As such, the production team for this is very different, and the sound is very different, too, but the ATEEZ DNA is _so_ there, from the 7 flags (wooweeoooo lore and San very far back), the anarchy symbol on the helmet, and them preparing for battle of sorts. We also get the blue in the teasers for the next comeback. Whee. You'll note on the little tattoo behind the ear that it matches the slash you pointed out in the letters LIMITLESS being a pointy triangle. Also, our members have been winners at the idol games in Korea, where they actually competed in archery -- Yeosang, Yunho, and Jongho.
There's so much irony in Diamond just because the Sparkling (fake idol group in the Imitation drama) had such iconic lyrics that group members still quote/joke with each other (fi-na-leee now, it's my time). I love that this Diamond is poised to overtake the other, but I do wish they had called it something like Diamond Diamond or Forever Diamond just to differentiate it, but that's a nitpick. Their Japanese songs are vocal-heavy and I love that (see Dreamers, Utopia, Paradigm) because it shows so much more of their range. I'm looking forward to a Korean version just because my knowledge of Japanese is faaar more limited for sing-alongs. ;) Also, PLEASE PLEASE make time to watch Seonghwa's solo covers, since he has a new one out (LAUV's The Story Never Ends, Pink Sweat's At My Worst, and now Troye Sivan's Angel Baby which has Hwa as a European boyfriend everyone wants). Great to see you back, can't wait to get more of your ATEEZ watches/listens!
They've dropped a lot more separate content recently. Wooyoung sang Ethan - 12 : 45, San sang Breathe, and Yeosang covered EXOs Blooming Day with his two co-hosts from The Show. My favorite song from Seonghwa recently is his karaoke cover of Winner's Empty (ft. HJ and JH). His range was fantastic--I can't stop listening to it.

Yeah ateez are comingback on the 16th next month, we're all so exited, KQ posted a community post with a poster, it's so misterious. You should check it out. Those things that look like tatoos, they didn't have it before so i don't really know if they have something to do with the mv or if they really got friendship tatoos I actually have no idea. Since the comeback is a month out, here are a few suggestions of interviews while they were in London: Idols Try Fish and Chips ft. ATEEZ on Jolly and ATEEZ Spilling their Secrets on the Tower of Truth on Popbuzz. Or you could react to xikers, ATEEZ's Juniors, who debuted recently. Their album had two title tracks, Tricky House and Rockstar; both have MVs. I feel like their rap style leans a bit Stray Kids, and their production ATEEZ, but with a more youthful vibe.

I know it kind of sounded silly when Yunho said he wanted to eat food from a Japanese convenience store, but Japanese convenience stores have excellent food. The cooler section has freshly made bento lunches with all sorts of ready-to-eat foods, there are bowls of udon and soba and spaghetti and hamburgers, etc, that you can ask to have heated up for you by a conbini worker before you leave the store. And then, at the counter they have fresh karaage, a crispy fried chicken that's been breaded with potato starch instead of flour for the extra crisp, and in the fall and winter, they have fresh oden, which is a dashi (fish broth) based soup with a wide array of customizable ingredients that range from stewed daikon, fish balls/fish cakes, egg, shiritaki noodles, all the way to konjak jelly and lotus root. My personal favorite conbini food, and the first thing I wanna eat when I go back, is the convenience store onigiri from FamilyMart. My favorite is the Tuna Mayo one, and I've been trying for a long time to recreate it at home, but it never comes out quite right.

Yunho, Yeosang, Hongjoong, Jongho all got archery lessons some time ago for an archery competition so they’re pretty decent at it. Jongho’s brother is in the national archery team.

There is no genre that they can't master!!
And as mentioned, this song is an OST made for the TV Tokyo anime Duel Masters Win - and therefore definitely has that very distinct, cool anime sound. Also, some of the lyrics (like in Hongjoong's rap) might make even more sense if you're familiar with the anime, especially the "card" references: like at the very end of the song when Hongjoong sings, "With this CARD we'll win, shield over rare" and in the chorus when Wooyoung sings, "now take hold of this HAND...", because it's an anime about cards (kinda like YuGiOh).
ATEEZ and their production team have this amazing ability for their lyrics to have several layers of meaning. Every single ATEEZ song correlates (in one way or another) to their lore/storyline, but even if you don't know a thing about their lore, the lyrics can still apply to one's life - I LOVE THAT! ... and with this song, the lyrics apply perfectly to this anime about cards, too. If you noticed, the video shows (at the end) that each member was actually competing with HIMSELF. So the message of the song and video is that when one works hard towards a personal goal (like in the gym scenes) and not give up, you can overcome your biggest obstacle, which is oftentimes yourself: with perseverance, the possibilities are limitless. Their song "Limitless" came out sometime last year as the opening for the anime mentioned and was only about a minute long, but they decided to now make it a full length song and a Japanese comeback song. 🖤🔥
Also, The tattoos behind each member's ear is representing a part of the Limitless album cover logo. The size of each tattoo goes in order of the member's age - the exception being Hongjoong's as the biggest tattoo (since he's the Captain). That's why you can barely see Jongho's, as the youngest member. Put all the tattoos together and they form the Limitless logo. ❤️
Yunho there saying that he'd like to eat a variety of Japanese foods and now that they're there they had abura soba six times in a row :D
Speaking of, other things you possibly missed - they had Anchor (encore) concerts in Seoul, one of which was broadcast so you could rewatch it, Anchor concerts in Japan, one of them also broadcast, The Dance Day Live event, the second day including Ateez mini concert streamed, and finally KCon Japan. So if you're in the mood for their live performances and would like to see choreos for Paradigm and Limitless they're all available in secret fandom archives :)

Captain's laugh and Mingi's "fix on" are almost exclusively done before verses they're written themselves. As they're not fluent in Japanese, I reckon they at least had their self-written raps for Limitless translated by someone, or the raps were written by a fluent speaker of Japanese.
They aren't speaking in Japanese during the making-of video, but what they're saying IS being translated into Japanese above the subtitles bar.
