ALWAYS puts a smile on my face. Kanami is lead guitar. Yes still going very strong. New album arriving this summer. You already reacted to their latest instrumental FROM NOW ON. And the sixth member was not a problem for the Maids at this show. Love your appreciation for the Awesome BAND-MAID. Peace. 42.3
Ah yes the famous 6th member - the pillar in the centre of the stage. Like you I love Band-maid. I have so much respect for them. They have worked so hard to achive the success they are now starting to get. Constant touring over the last 10 years in Europe, USA, Japan etc. Often playing in tiny venues in basements etc. Driving helping with equipment. And still all the original members. Such constant touring and close proximity often seems to drive bands apart but they have grown closer nad honed their craft so they are now like a well greased machine, nothing phases them
THE band of my soon to be 65 years on this planet, like you they always put a smile on my face unless they're dragging a (happy) tear from my eyes eg About Us and Kanami's Daydreaming solo. May the Maids only find happiness and success both professionally and personally, this world is all the better for having B-M in it, cheers 👍🍻
Kanami on lead (PRS) and Kobato on rhythm (Zemaitis) guitar. Kobato has the red rose in her bonnet, and the broader shoulders. She normally wears her patented plateau shoes - Kanami always wear flats - but on this 2019 European tour Kobato uncharacteristically opted for low heels, due to still healing from a freak accident in the home that required an ambulance and stitching her left thigh back together. By the count of the rest of the band Kobato is the most accident prone human alive.
They are quite talented. Good sound and not the boring two chord metal I'm used to hearing. Still, not my style, but I can put up with it enough to appreciate what they have going on! Thanks for sharing!
Band-Maid toured the US in October of 2022, in May and August in 2023, Mostly at small venues and a few outdoor festivals. With Band-Maid unable to leave Japan in '20-'21, their October tour sold out quickly. In May pf '23 I caught them at a small club (800-900 tickets sold?) in Detroit with a stage nearly as tight as the Hamburg show. As for Band-Maid's 2024 schedule they have only released Japanese dates up through mid-July. Maybe North America next Fall? At the Detroit show members of the Audience had come from all over: I had an Irishman to my right and a group of moshing Argentinians to my left. The Maids really enjoy touring the US: they love the fans and they like the wide open roads.
For me..Kanami is the most impressive musician of the 21st Century. Pure genius as a composer and true Rock n’ Roll Star on stage. Plays guitar like obsessed, compose music like all the great ones. She is The Special One 🔥❤️ Greets from Finland 🇫🇮🤘

Hi Deane, Always enjoy your reactions and just watched your reaction to Band-Maid from Germany in 2019. That was the same year that I last saw them in London. On another subject- We have Prog magazine here in the UK and EBB were voted Best New Prog Band for 2023. They have an official live video (HD) of their song Tension, here's the link- EBB - Tension @ the Nene Valley Rock Festival 2023. Or if you prefer, the studio version from their album- Mad & Killing Time from 2022. Sorry no link for this one. I was at the festival and have seen them again since.
I saw Band Maid just last year in a club no bigger than this one. It blew my mind that artists at this level could be there. They totally outclassed and overpowered the venue. I describe it like seeing early Led Zeppelin in a coffeehouse. They must enjoy it, because they deserve the big arenas
Miku on the Zematis and Kanami on the PRS. Miku has the red rose. They've just come off their 10th anniversary with the finale arena show in Yokohama Arena in November 2023 and are about to do another live show on Thursday of their song repertoire that they couldn't fit in that 33 song November show. Have a look on RUclips for Ohrenje's video of Choose Me cut together from 24 fan cams at Yokohama Arena to get an idea of just how strong they're going now. 👍
Dean -- Which is which Maid: Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, Vocals, Lyricist, SpokesPigeon, and Founder (as we face them, always at center left, between MISA and Saiki) Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead Guitar, Keyboards, Main Composer (always on the right side) Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" aka: MISA MISA MISA - Bass (always on the left side) Thx, Dean!
Jo, und etwas mehr als eine halbe Stunde mit der Bahn von mir entfernt. Leider habe ich sie erst kennen gelernt, nach diesem Konzertpunktpunkt so ist halt das Leben Punktpunkt😢
I think I know why Band Maid hasn’t been back to Europe. Besides Covid of course. The last time they were there, Europe was experiencing a record heatwave. The Maids came to melt faces and almost got melted themselves. Europe…..invest in air conditioning and they will come.

Great support from the sixth member on stage at Hamburg !
I like this Fan cam.
But I get mad every time that I missed this concert by only two months.
I did not know them at that time. damn.
Kanami (lead guitar) is the best female guitar player in the world!!! She is amazing!!!

Try their newest live video for Unleash!!!!! from Yokohama Arena, bit of a contrast to a small club in Hamburg.
Victor Chupin was next to Kanami so she sounds particularly good.

As an FYI Dean - BAND-MAID uploaded 2 Live vids in the last 2 weeks. Both include guitar/bass conversations. DON'T YOU TELL ME and HATE. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎

I have to admit it was awfully hot, nearly passed away. But they played their usual two-hours set without complaining, and with their usual energy 👍
I hear Japan has hot humid summers too
@@deanwolfechannel Nowadays, it's hot everywhere! 🥵
But we do have The Warning touring in Europe. Would be great for Band Maid to return too.
