Nice!! All of the girls are multilingual, speaking 3-5 languages. Jisoo is the only member not fluent in English: Jennie spent five years in New Zealand where she became fluent; Lisa, who is Thai, was taught English in school growing up (and her dad is Swiss and speaks mainly English) and Rosé was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia, English is her primary language.

I would even surmise to say Rosé is more comfortable speaking english than korean. If you consider that all 3 of her solos are entirely in english you can conclude she is at least more comfortable expressing her emotions in english.

FYI the dude that they cut to who is vibing is JYP, the host of the show that they were on. JYP is actually the CEO of a competing K-Pop company but his TV show Party People had on guests from all different companies. By the way, the girls did write those bars at the end, they explained on the show that during their training they had to perform covers for the CEO and managers at the end of every month, and the CEO had praised them on the SURE THING cover.

3 Korean girls and Lisa is Thai. Jisoo is born and grew up in Korea. Jennie is born in Korea but spent 5 years in New Zealand from age 10 to 15. Rose was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia from age 7. All the girls joined YG in Korea from age around 15 and trained for around 5 to 6 years in Korea before debuting as BlackPink.

Jennie: speaks Korean, Japanese and English(Lived in New Zealand for 5yrs) fluently and learning French(and possibly Mandarin)
Rosé: speaks Korean, Japanese and English(Born/Raised in Australia) fluently, some Mandarin and learnt/still learning Spanish.
Jisoo: speaks Korean and Japanese fluently, pretty good Mandarin and learning English.
Lisa: speaks English, Thai, Korean and Japanese fluently, pretty decent Mandarin and proved that she know very basic Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay and Tagalog

Jisoo (Gee•sue) and Rosé (Row•zay) is how they are pronounced. Once in a while you will hear the other members refer to Rosé as Rosie.
And three of the four members are fluent in English. Rosé was born in New Zeland but raised in Australia. Lisa is Thai but I believe she went to an international school and didn't know Korean when she joined YG to become a trainee. Jennie lived in New Zeland from grade school till middle school. The only one that isn't fluent in English is Jisoo but she does understand what you are saying, just can't respond back but lately it seems that she has worked on it so it is getting a lot better. All of them actually speak multiple languages. Lisa is the most impressive because she speak Thai, Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and the last I heard she is learning Philipino. Jennie speak Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and French. Rosé speaks English, Korean, and Japanese. Jisoo speaks Korean, Japanese, and can communicate in English.
But that really tells you how much talent these girls have and the reason that they are so loved around the world. They do their best to communicate with their fans. Just be careful about the toxic rabid people that call themselves BLINKS because they will come after you if they feel like you are saying something wrong about them. Most BLINKS are understanding and will try to give you their knowledge about what they know about BLACKPINK but the internet is full of haters.
As you get more into BLACKPINK you will see that their talents goes beyond the stage.

Actually Rosé was born in new zealand and grew up in australia, so she grew up speaking english, and Jennie moved to new zealand when she was 10 to study and stayed there for 5 years, so she spoke a lot of english too

This will help you. Jisoo's name is pronounced as G Sue. I love these girls, especially Jisoo! She was born in 1995, Jennie 1996, Rosé 1997, and Lisa is the youngest.
