Tag this one as educational. So many interesting interactions have been observed in the video
Yeah I wasn't sure the Deep Space interaction would work so I'm glad he tried it out.
Agreed. Hulkbuster THEN move MM followed by Ghost Spider was particularly elegant
Love the split second flip from absolute confidence to panic to relief there at the end.
Last game in Deep Space is one of the best executed movement final turn if've seen in a while! Nice content
I just love how Jeff sings oldie bangers in and around games. :)
To give SD some praise where it's deserved, these matches really highlight the value of Conquest as a game mode. With a deck like this, that does a really sweet thing inconsistently, being able to snap and retreat appropriately is a more important skill than with decks like Blob Thanos, which can just cruise by on a high winrate.
But on the ladder, the opponent is way more likely to retreat on turn 6 or even as soon as you snap, and once you're infinite there's no difference between a 1/2-cube victory and an 8-cube victory (other than not getting to do the sweet thing). In Conquest, not only are games more likely to play out, but getting those 1/2-cube wins from an early snap actually feels meaningful, since they're part of a longer match-plus the infinite avatars are actually a small but fun reward.
I've been playing this one all day. It combines the fun of destroy and the surprise of move. My losses are unremarkable but the wins are *chef's kiss* Favorite type of deck
Love that you can make playing with not great cards seem fun enough to make me want to get them!
This deck actually has positive Stats post infinite so far for what it is worth.
Never wanted to get a bad card so badly lol
@@theBarit0ne__this is exactly how i feel 😭
Sweet deck. I decided to use 1 key this week as I don’t have Herc or Howard. I got Herc with the one cache. I was using a Phoenix Force deck as well. I now see the error in my ways using Zola over Tribunal.
I like Hercules but as you pointed out, he kind of comes online too late in the game. If he was a three cost, I feel like that would be so much better. By the way, I did get a 200 power human torch with him earlier, so he can perform if you do sequence things properly. I was basically playing a bounce movement hybrid.
The spiderman 2099 problem all over again
I was hesitant of getting it at 6k tokens. But PF decks are one of my favorites and your highlights really wanted to make me try it, so I caved ^^
I do love me a Phoenix Force deck. I know it may not be good in the meta right now, but this has sold me on getting Hercules to make it even better and more fun.
I usually follow your advice on cache openings but I absolutely ran the other way on this one. I was waiting for a good Wolfie variant and i really wanted the Howard the Duck variant too. Plus Hercules looks like fun and this video is proof positive that you dont have to play Blob Lockout to have fun.
This looks like a ton of fun to try, got Herc in one spotlight, looking forward to trying it out. Love any excuse to use ghost spider/phoenix force.
I just put Dr Strange in the Hercules slot and it seemed fine. I think in his current state Herc is a little too expensive and the effect should at least trigger once per turn on both sides of the board.
This is me, missing only Hercules and Howard, and appreciating the advise to move along!
From my testing I really hope he goes down to 3 cost, but as is he’s still pretty fun, I like the design but he def needs some type of change to really pop off
This has been the best use of Hercules I've seen so far
Decided to quit the game after reaching 10K CL exactly, seemed like a good spot. You're one of my favorite Snap content creators and I'll continue to support and watch you even though I'll no longer play, I'll be playing through you from now on.
Highly recommend Slay the Spire as your replacement if keeping up with the new content/spending was a driving force behind quitting.
@@Griswold7Slicer Nah I simply get burnt out with every card game after a while, it happened with Hearthstone, Runeterra, and Magic Arena as well. I played all these games for at least a year, Snap probably being my favorite but just time to move on.
Hit 10k and my drive naturally fell away too. Been a good ride but feels a good stopping point.
I’m like 500 away from 10K and I feel it also. After that Mobius fiasco and the moves second dinner has made these last few months have made my interest fade
@@elitesurgeon “moves second dinner has made” what are you even referring to
I tried a version of this that is all in on human torch. so fun when the draw comes together!
Thanks Jeff. This deck looks fun.
Really glad you found a fun brew for him. It was really disheartening when he struggled earlier in the more stock move lists, especially when we needed a distraction from the current meta.
Is it as interesting to play as it is to watch? You ran into some pretty tricky boardstates, but it seems like after getting used to how some of the game's mechanics work, it won't have quite the depth of something like bounce.
Cool stuff Jeff, always nice to see PF highlights.. ;)
PS, what's the criteria for the game speeding up with fast forward? Cause that t6 of the first game was excruciatingly long.
I was just wondering how well the deck would play without drawing Phoenix on time, and then the game vs destroy showed me.
You can see jeff warming up to hercules as the video goes on :p
I love Phoenix Force, and I'll throw away so many cubes with this deck.
@00:45 Nico has x2 spell. Did you discuss during the stream about playing into gamma lab, then next turn playing another card to double the new Nico Hulk? That still works right? I guess the draw 2 cards worked out. Got the PF.
That bug was fixed two or three patches ago.
I've been doing something similar with our living tribunal and instead running zabu to discount Phoenix and herc .. decks hit or miss but when it works it's glorious

Video of the year… already 😊
Does it make sense to cut something for Caiera here? Do you don’t just get wrecked by killmonger in the tribunal line
The existence of Caiera has made there be less Killmongers in the format and your Torch can move to dodge opposing Shangs / Shadows - so no I don't think she is worth a slot in here right now.
they will change blob to "eat the next 3 cards from your deck" (or 4, dont pin me on the number). its the only way to fix him with simple understandable rules imho.
also would make him more vulnerable to darkhawk as a rock in your deck would reduce his size allowing other counterplay than just shadowking.
glad to see that a new deck with the living tribunal!!
Begone with your logic and good advice. I reserve the right to make poor decisions and open purely for the wolf variant 🎉 😂
I don´t like play movement, but Phoenix Force is an exception, it's my guilty pleasure card and seeing this deck makes me now want to take Hercules so bad, rs.
wish Hercules was S4, i might have bought him with tokens just to mess around with a card few people had, but at S5 and having everything else in the Spotlights, there is no reason for me to get him at the moment.
Definitely should have been an S4 card. Unless they buff him to 3 energy, I don't see him being a power house anywhere. Even then would probably struggle.
This... SD needs to release more S4 and S3 cards. The series drop was nice, but feels like 1 card per month as S5 is the way to go... maybe the season card, 1 S5, 2 S4, and 1 S3 each month would help the card mix.
@@jeffhartsellgiving every card on release to people who spend zero dollars would almost certainly kill marvel SNAP as a game. It is not a good solution.
Why would people think attuma works with her?
It's a phoenix force deck ( my favorite deck) with living tribunal ( my favorite big bad ) with Hercules ( my favorite marvel hero )?????
Ya I'm submitting a deck Dono weekly for this I think.
cool deck idea I like it
I think Caiera can be realy good here
2x Nico on Gamma Lab becomes 24 power hulk, if you didn't know.
good stuff as always
I will skip him but i had a great time watching the stream live. Great Vid. 🎉
Engagement.
Im trying so hard not to use my keys this week as I'm missing Howard and Herc. I know theyre bad but...lol.
I also looked at March and the entire month looks like a snooze fest for me. Maybe ill just pull the trigger. Idk
I'll have a March review on Thursday as a heads up. Lotta good cards there IMOm
Spicy hyb!
what about adding magic to this deck? wouldnt 1 extra turn give room for big power spikes?
Playing Limbo is just hard into Thanos without Leech or Cosmo.
ENGAGEMENT
So many sweaty people in PG the amount of Leech HE is a joke, honestly its worth nothing sure play it in the silver up but PG have a little fun
Blob is the whole reason I now retreat from Infinity Stones.
