Will nordwave2 get the seamless sound transition feature update soon? I think this feature is very critical, and many people wish this could be realized.
Julian is one of the most amazing of keyboardists to demo...and also Jesus Molina (who smiles more). Joel Lyssarides is also great! I have the Nord Wave 2, but need lots more practice to get even 1/2 as good as those guys. Thanks, Julian👍🏻🙏
positionally the internal WT sounds are fixed and don't sweep : ( interestingly though, if you set the lfo section to pitch or filter, it will sweep pitch or filter on it. i guess because those are independent of the waveform itself. but yeah, the WTs are static positions, imo they should've called it wave-slices, or something. But, if you have another synth you can record it and save the wav file to the free sample editor software, and send it to the wave2. I have done this with kterm, and with my audiothingies micromonsta's WT sounds. I havent tried it yet with my ppg wave 3.v [software synth] but id imagine it could work just as well. Hopefully with a firmware update there could be sweepable WT lfos, I would like this. The sync waves and analog wave shaping on this synth are amazing though, and you can create four separate layers with independent lfo rates and types, or lock them all to the same click, and sweep away, basically changing the wave shapes of those mentioned analog ones. You can even set each layer to a different level so it sounds like one is smoothly transitioning into another [or use the pedal or mod wheel on different layers, choosing start and end points of the waveshape of the selected of the four layers], creating a 'sweep' like change, a bit of effort, but definitely also interesting. Impulse morph and aftertouch [i love the aftertouch on the wave 2!] could be added to further sculpt the sweeps with filter and/or phaser control [i consider the phaser effect to be a type of filter anyways.]
@@NZsaltz Im only speaking from my own experience playing mine. I love the synth for what it does. It can definitely do a lot. But no, it seems like wave scanning is not a thing for it.
Still am on the hunt for a new synth.. this patch Hey Calm Down is right up my alley for midi guitar/hardware synth sound.. J3PO, is the bank ready, LOL
I don't think that these are factory presets. J3PO is an expert sound designer who has released superb soundsets for many different synths, so I'm reasonably sure that all of the patches that he demonstrated in this video & in the other four video demonstrations are 100% his creations.
Great synth control idea, but terrible coloration of the sound engine. Learn to make sound like Eric Persing did 30 years ago. You have a million possibilities and many times more powerful processors, but there is still no sound ... The guy is cool and spectacularly grimacing, only this does not make the synth better

Dreamy sound at the end
Thank you so much for your very good demo/impro very inspirated! =💖💖💖💖

I'll never be anything but rubbish, but I still love playing my new wave2.
@@chriscopeman8820 The joy of it matters most.👍🏻 It’s a great instrument.
I think this guy is high AF while shooting this video
I mean, he could be high off the sounds
Makes me FLY ✈️❤️
I wished it could do wave table sweeps like the PPG , Or can it?

@@AviPFine Wait, you can't modulate the wavetable position? That takes away most of the appeal of a wavetable synth in the first place

Great playing....thanks for the inspiration!!! ❤️🎼
beautiful demo. wave 2 is a great synth
I wish I can have atleast this one
yeah... wonderful
Que som é esse! Fenomenal! Pena que no Brasil os preços são proibitivos
More DX7 sounds for the wave 2 plz! Then it could be like a mellotron and a DX7 and be totally unique
Que lindo! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Are these patches ‘straight out of the box’ on this series of videos? Or have they been customised by this dude?

wow! Nice sounds played by a real musician! Way to demo a synth!
Cara se mexe mais do que toca
maluco tem maior jeito de noiado kkkkkk mas ele é massa
"I wob you" 😂
Are these pre loaded or in the nord library that need to be loaded ?
So fresh 😍😍😍
Love it
How Can I transfer that’s sounds to Nord stage 3??
Andy Ozuna pls let me know if u find out
I think you can't. It's a different synth.
@@NZsaltz yeah it is is a different synth engine
they have the same synthsis, software...it works on stage 3 too
A face ofba guy playing!! Hahahhahahahhaa
The FM stuff is drenched in boxy sounding verb, what a shame.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Beautiful, go easy with the reverb though.😀
u can just make an album straight out of that
Does it have waterfall keys?
I could google it but I'm too lazy
