In this video, we will go over how to calculate Net Present Value also known by its acronym NPV. We will show you the NPV function in excel. NPV excel is very easy to use.
Why would you calculate NPV?
Investments and/or projects with a positive Net Present Value (NPV) are typically going to be worth pursuing while an investment or project with a negative NPV might not be worth taking on since its forecasted cashflows are less than an alterative project/investment OR possibly just earning interest on the cash.
