I thought when I did a 30 hit combo and not dying was cool in NG, after watching this I have a lot to learn about the game. Its so much deeper than I thought it to be. NINJA GAIDEN FTW!
DMC always be my favourite but in this video the framerate is kinda slow, Ninja Gaiden animation is so fluid but i never really got into it and I play God of War just for the story.
They are both evenly matched. They are both supersonic in terms of speed, both have a form of regeneration that takes time, both have the ability to stop time (Dante slows it down with Quicksilver, Ryu can stop it completely briefly), Dante has a greater strength factor but Ryu's Ki magic is stronger. They balance each other out in every way, which makes it impossible to declare a winner. They would wear each other out, before calling bullshit, shaking hands on it, and parting ways.
watching im starting to see like a pattern to how there treating these type of games now looking at it Ninja Gaiden we all know and love badass like it should be and then Ninja Gaiden 3 we get QTE's and simple button combinations and no limbs being cut off really,DMC we all know and love badass and now were getting this Donte n DMC5 with its simple combo system,i think GOW might be the only franchise holding its own, then Bayonetta 2 is only on wii-u ugh i hope its gameplay will still be solid

Nadhif Bhagawanta because the statement made wasn't "I like DMC 4" but "DMC4 is the best". It's his opinion then I stated mine. It wasn't a competition but an opinion. I like both but from my experience I feel NG2 was the overall better game. Nobody has to be butthurt like Undead King.
Once again I have to give it up to the NG2 player because the combos were phenomenal, anyone that has played it knows that to keep the combo counter going you can't block anything let alone get hit and NG has the most relentless and difficult enemies in any game period.
Ninja Gaiden the best and easiest to pull off combos, dmc and gow are all too flashy, the choreography in ng looks more realistic with it's martial arts moves and everything its almost like you can actually pull off the moves irl... It's a shame people don't give ng the credit it deserves. Ryu Hayabusa is fucking LEGENDARY!
I don't think those moves are in console version. Not the head dive or air slicing thing with blue after images. Of those weapons you used to get 109 hit combo.

I would love to see a Bayonetta video from this guy. I wish I knew how they use their controllers. Look at how much the DMC4 guys switch styles constantly while attacking in the boss's face.

In terms of Ryu's speed. Ryu is so fast that he can physically teleport completely. Dante's trickster places him towards his opponents and is used strategically. He has not shown any feats of physically disappearing and reappearing hundreds of miles like Ryu. There can be more and more debate about who blitzes who in terms of speed. Even though Ryu appears to be faster, I believe they are about equal since Dante's DT can increase his powers.

Well you obviously haven't been playing attention nor progressed far enough into the games to know that the enemies Ryu faces are far from wannabes. The strongest enemy in the game, the Vigoor Emperor, is considered omnipotent, able to turn an entire land into lava and ash by simply blinking. Also, Ryu has already been to hell and back. He killed the Arch-fiend, which is Satan in the Ninja Gaiden universe and torn Hell to pieces twice
it'd be a close fight,, kratos was once a god.. dante is half demon-half human,,, and ryu comes from the dragon lienage.. I'd love to see that fight lol
ok the dmc 4 combos shown here where not the best, y didnt u take brea, TQ or kail's dmc 4 combo videos or some other dmc gods combo. i like Ninja Gaiden and DMC both have unique combat system that cannot be compared, DMC is all abt speed/timing while Ninja gaiden is all abt response/timing, only way we can compare both the combat system is when Ninja Gaiden finally gets fast weapon switching like the DMC. First off you failed again. No where does it state that Trickster has a definite speed range if I'm not mistaken. The best measurement I saw was when Dante ran down the mountainside and air resistance caught up to him definitely making him supersonic. Ryu can dodge lightning, deflect bullets, destroy tanks, helicopters, mechs, AND demons. And to top it all off your greatest fail=him being human. He is NOT completely human like Dante. He descends from Dragon Gods and has demonic blood like Dante.
.......uhhhhhh. You didn't do a combo video for god of war. So then why put god of war in the title? Other than that, its a sweet video. Just a little missleading.
