Sorry I'm late to the party.. I too have couple dry rotted boots I didn't wanna partvwith and didn't know how to give'm a makeover... Love that you are a no waste person! Your video gave me plenty ideas!! hope to get this done soon!
You are such a creative soul! I just got addicted to your videos; you have so much fun with it and you make me smile, which is...everything. BTW, do you make your bracelets, too? I make jewelry with bead weaving and bench work, too. Just curious.
Thank you so much. I made about three or four of them. I started getting interested in jewelry design around October last year and got the materials in December but I have to wait until lockdown is over to get the stuff for my torch so I can do some soldering .
I’ve been looking for new ways to Renno my old shoes! Love this. * I had to watch this with sound off. Did you talk about how you put the soles back on the bottom of the shoes?
Finally, a comprehensive video on how to do a boot upcycle without the generic 'just put a plant in it.' Good job and thanks for sharing!

Yesss, I hate throwing away things! I would have stuff in a box for months until I decide what I can do to fix them.

I just glued it back on with e6000 but maybe get glue that is specifically for shoes or even Contact Cement
My grandma's did this but she didn't use tape. They used pattern paper
That would be interesting to see the process
But how long did this last?
If you step in water your done for right?
Well I went running through the rain and they still look the same soooo
What kind of glue did you used?
I honestly do not remember but it was some cheap local fabric glue I believe.
Hows your sister doing
She is ok thanks for asking
