I can't believe it's been 15 years. I remember that very first video. There are so many of us that are grateful you've shared your recovery journey with all of us. Congratulations on your new baby and best wishes for the upcoming move!
I’ve been following your recovery for years and I’m so impressed and amazed by how far you come. I’m so, so excited for this next chapter in your life as a mum ❤
Crazy how long so many of us have been following you after randomly finding your channel. I love the yearly updates lol. Congratulations on the baby and anniversary!
Fantastic example to us all, you are a credit to your family. I'm sure there very proud of you. I remember watching you on undatebles years ago!! Great news that life is treating you well❤.
I am so happy for you that everything worked out for you and your recovery, though long and hard, is complete. Life seems.perfect for you now. I couldn't be happier because that stroke was so unfair for a 19 yr old just starting out in life.
Hi Sarah! Wow!!! Really exciting news for you and your family. Wonderful wonderful news!! I’ve been following you since I first started studying to be a Speech Language Therapist and have shared your videos with people to show how you can live a full life post-stroke. Keep-on being an inspiration❤
Congratulations!I have followed you since the first video and can`t believe it's been 15 years. I have shared your videos with hundreds of paramedic students and will gladly share this one with many more in the coming years!
Wow Sarah! Congratulations on your anniversary and pregnancy! It was an honor to have been invited to be on your surprise One Show "Big Thank You". I was the teacher from Maryland and I will continue to use your story and recovery to inform and inspire my Psychology classes yearly. Best of luck in all that you have in store in the future. You'll make a terrific mother.
Many years ago I was studying neurobiology, stroke and neuroplasticity in university and we stumbled across your video. Ive come back to school and I am studying it again and I was reminded of your speech therapy videos. I came in to check and you've reached another milestone! Great to see your living you're best life! Cheers!
Dear Sarah! Thank you so much for sharing the most exiting news in your life! Congratulations and best wishes from Lithuania! We’ve been watching your inspiring videos from the very beginning!!!
Hi Sarah, I have been watching your videos across my psychology degree and you seem to pop up every time we look at aphasia. We normally watch one of your first videos, then one from 6 years ago. I cannot tell you how delighted I was today to click into your channel and watch your most recent videos. You have been, you are, inspiring. Good luck and congrats to you both on the bubba! Love from Tasmania :)
Your progress is nothing short of remarkable. I've just stumbled across your videos today, and seeing how you were 15 years ago compared to today, or even to how you were two years ago is actually jaw-dropping! I'm in awe, honestly. And congrats on your pregnancy! I hope all goes well!
I've watched your videos since the beginning and shared them with my students -- future speech-language pathologists -- I appreciate that you have shared your experiences. I'm excited for you as you start this next step on your journey! Congratulations!
I have been following you from the beginning, I dont know why I saw you on youtube, maybe the youtube algorithm suggest it, but ive been invested all this time. Its so weird to see someone growing up on youtube over this time, glad that you have gotten so much better and marvelous that you are expecting a child.🥰 Oh and thanks to your mum !
Wow... your story hit me DEEP like nothing before. I can't imagine losing every memory, basic cognitive skills and still showing up to life, especially when you have clear ideas of who you want to be in life. You're such a fighter- your courage and resilience is inhuman- many would have taken their life... And I can't believe how much have you improved. One day, you'll tell your story to your son/daughter. Life is absurd.
Hi Sarah, I am a nursing student in New Zealand, as part of our course training around the brain we were given your video from 15 years ago - around 9 months after your stroke. It is amazing to see your journey. Congratulations on the baby :)

I am expecting updates as your little one grows up, btw!! It's time we hear about someone else's speech and language acquisition on this channel, for once!! 😆😋 congratulations again!

I have difficulty communicating because I had a stroke in Broca’s area, the part of the brain that controls speech. 2/8/2021 but I lived again. (My wife helped me compose this.) RUclips and X (twitter)
