This version didn't last long. It was pulled and reworked by the band into the version we all know and love.

Totally different vocalist at the time, too! This has Murat Konar on vocals, who left the band in 1985. But yeah, this song really isn't suited for his vocal range at all, he's really struggling to hit those upper notes.

​@ennexthefox I thought Murat's vocals were kept on after the song was remixed? And wasn't Kurt out of the band at this point? I remember reading on Kurt's INSOC website he had briefly left in 1984/1985.

@@Skorpio420 I could be wrong, but my understanding is this particular recording was recorded in that period where Kurt took a break, but then they re-recorded it with Kurt for the Information Society album in 1988. This vocalist sounds way different than what was on the album release, so I'm assuming it's two different people.
Then again, I'd love to be proven otherwise, I've been listening to this song for like 30 years, it would blow my mind to find out someone else sang it, haha!
