I've owned the ohio bar before with the bronze bushings which are sometimes considered to be higher quality than the composite bushings and was wondering if you have a preference between the two? I noticed that Rogue has been putting their composite bushings in the new cerakote bars instead of the bronze and in the rogue bar 2.0 as well. Any ideas why?
This bar is all most people need for most workouts. High rep. Need to do clean and jerks? Get an Olympic bar. Though I'd wonder why one wouldn't then be training at a gym. Where there are coaches. Where you won't PO neighbors constantly dropping barbells from above head. Unless you have a sound suppressed gym at home. Most of the bars are the same. Just versions of the OHIO bar. Reminds me of the 911 cars by Porsche. Cash grabs. They make minor changes and give it a new model name. Rogue really only needs to be selling 3 bars. This bar. A deadlift bar. And an Olympic Weightlifting bar. And their specialty bars. Having said all that...because it for some odd reason only has a 1-yr warrantee...might be a deterrent to a buyer for the moderate savings over an OHIO bar. Or the 2.0 bar. which all come with LIFETIME warrantees. Which I think is worth the extra cost for a piece of mind. Need a beater bar? Buy a "boneyard bar". Or some cheap CAP or YORK bar. A bar to use for "land mine work".
Lol yo I was just squatting with bar and the whip is crazy. I guess its a good bar for oly lifts. But when I was highbaring 445lbs I had to wait for the bar to stop whipping to do another rep.
I’m wondering what cuff opening diameter for the plates need to be. On the site they have the diam of the grip but not the loading. Forgive me if I’ve not used the technical terms, I’m new to this.

I have the echo bar 1.0 version and ut has been a great bar and i have treated it like shit.

if you’re asking what i believe your asking it is 2 inches which is universal for olympic barbells and weight plates

The chains fall on the floor as the rep is lower, so more weight is at the top of the lift, when you are stronger
