Gorgeous. And the sequence starting at 12:20 is my favorite. Of all of the versions I’ve seen I like this intepretation the most. Something about his movements and his expressions…

Mir ist diese Aufführung auch die SCHÖNSTE ! ❤❤ DANKE 😊
36:00 I love how the ballerina and moor basically just dip out, say "bye y'all", and just vanish into the night

I agree. Merkuriev has great talent as a dramatic actor, which he readily brings to such roles x
Thank you, Gina
You are very welcome x
Woow thx with nina ❤️❤️❤️
Now Bolshoi has an absolutely different version of Petrushka, interesting and unusual
Perhaps a second version from Fokine or a new one based on Fokine?
Love the Bolshoi productions, but I'm a little confused - I didn't think Petrouchka was in their repertoire, just the Mariinsky's?

This is the only version I have x
So when Petrushka lost his life, the crowd covered him so he could be replaced with the puppet
Duh!
he was always a puppet
After the policeman walks off relieved that he won't have to do the paperwork for an actual murder.
