How to map the APC Mini MIDI controller for use with Freestyler

This is a BASIC tutorial to show you how to map the APC Mini for use with Freestyler and trigger cue buttons. It will also show you how assign and control using the faders as well. The process also works for other similar midi controllers. This is for versions 3.6.34 although the process may be the same for other version of Freestyler. HAVE QUESTIONS? hello, thanks for the informative video, i have one question , how can i ''make'' , assign those virtual cue buttons to some functions of my lights for further to asign them to the Akai APC mini (that part i have understood it) ? (as you have them assgined, (i m speaking of the buttons of the screen) mine are empty i just installed the Freestyler). I have the same Akai APC mini and the Enttec USB DMX 512 PRO interface and unfortunately i couldn`t make it work with Chauvet Show Xpress, that program seems much easyer and better than Freestyle , but i heard Show Xpress works only with Chauvet interfaces. Thanks !

Hey, help a brother out. I'm looking to use this simultaneously with a wireless DMX transmitter. Do you run wireless as well? Could you explain your configuration? I'm assuming both midi controller and DMX interface dongle plug into PC USB ports. Is that correct?

I followed you instructions using my Behringer FCB1010 midi pedal and when I hit "learn" and hit a button it populates the space, but when I save and press the button with the cue open, nothing happens?!?
