Who said anything about keeping up? Where in this video did you see anything about the owner wanting to race? He likes to have a nice looking car that's unique with decent power.
So here's a thought. Some people like other things in life. Deal with it. He likes aesthetics and has done it really well. I like performance which is why I have an ISF... Different strokes for different folks. Buy something you like and build it. Either way we all win as enthusiasts.
