"Joey doesn't like water (yet)" is the first video i've ever seen of Joey and i still rewatch it to this day i'm so soft rn--
I admit that I watch that particular video of Joey almost daily. He's just so adorable there. He's adorable now, too, of course. As a helpless infant, exceptionally so😊!!!

Some of us actually enjoy wildlife and tune it, especially when we need to get our fix to watch joey and the rest of the otter family 🦦, penguins 🐧 , octopus 🐙,kelp swaying away...
Some may snooze off while watching Joey and accidentally pressed whatever and never noticed. Have you sometimes accidentally 📞 someone without meaning too. I think it could be the case.
I remember when he was this little and hated water and couldn't swim. It's amazing how far he come. All of the staff have done such a great job.

Love the last part where this little fluff ball is snuggling down to sleep. If only life were this simple. Love you Joey and thank you to all of the caregivers, volunteers, trainers, veterinary technicians and veterinarians who are looking after Joey!! The Wigglers would love to see a video of Dr. Marty with Joey like the one three years ago with Rialto. So cute!!

Otters are such cute animals
hey was so cute hen he was little he grow fast and with everyday he became more adult with his trics (like Wiggle) and charm. You're the star and bright light that keep me going in 2020 and from the bottum of my heart : Thank u Joey for being there ! and the caretakers ! much love from Holland
Joey was such a tiny floof! And his adorable meeping. You can see why he’s so attached to Sion. She’s cared for him since the beginning. He’s still just the cutest but loved his baby nursery days.

How did you get to see him in person? Is he as adorable as he seems?
@@kael1716 Before the Aquarium had to shut down for COVID reasons, I was able to go. Joey's nursery and "big boy" pool were open to view. He was very chatty with his meeps and he was absolutely adorable. I even got to see a wiggle dance. This was at the beginning of September.

Baby otters can just float in the beginning. That is all their fur will allow them to do. Then one day as they grow older they realize they can dive deep. It's kind of fascinating. I used to scuba dive on the Pacific coast and the otters would always tease me.
Joey was exceptionally cared for as a helpless infant. It was beautiful to see how cherished he was. He deserved that and continues to deserve it. He's an adorable, innocent, lovable, very intelligent, loving little critter. I wish him a good and healthy life!
