The first one I don’t understand, my car broke down today (bad fuel line connector) and I had to push it out of the road. I cannot think of any worse advise than closing the door because you have no access to the brakes if you need to stop the car. My advice is keep the door open, right hand on the steering wheel, left hand on the A pillar and push with your legs. Easy in and out when you need to stop the car and no seatbelt buckle scratching the paint on your door

Im a mechanic. The date on the seatbelt means basically nothing. If it doesn't "match" it doesn't at all mean the car has been in an accident. Maybe. But i can tell you ive replaced countless seatbelts and/or buckles over the last 15 years. And i can probably count on 1 hand how many were because of accidents. Manufacturing date on the belt could be different for many reasons. Don't assume a vehces been in an accident because the date is different.

Im a mechanic. The date on the seatbelt means basically nothing. If it doesn't "match" it doesn't at all mean the car has been in an accident. Maybe. But i can tell you ive replaced countless seatbelts and/or buckles over the last 15 years. And i can probably count on 1 hand how many were because of accidents. Most were because the seatbelt locked and won't come out or won't retract. Or because the buckle stopped reading when the seatbelt was clicked in.
Fist off don’t put the seat belt in the closed door position as it can damage the belt integrity and not work like ment to in accident, second the belt buckle won’t break the window, use the head rest it’s actually designed to come out and has sharp tip to break windows, always inspect the belts for wear and tear. Don’t risk your life by damaging belts!,

Seatbelt date can be different. Depends on when the suppliers manufactured it
pro tip: use it as a beer bottle opener while driving
And of course if you're pushing the car and lose control and you are Tangled in the seat belt I'm sure that increases your odds of survival
On some vehicles, if you must spend the night in your vehicle, you can run the seatbelt thru the door handle before you click it. The door will be impossible to open. 🙏😏

These are helpful, one of the ways you can tell if your car was in a flood is to get your door panel opened, it shows a lot.
None of these are functions of a seat belt, and defo NEVER push a car with the door closed
