If you don’t want to lose all data: Once you have held command + r and reboot settings are open. You want to go to terminal from one of the top left selections, once it’s open type “reset password” then press enter. You should be able to reset your laptop password.
I forgot my password and follow the instruction but i ended in i need to enter password on harddisk. Please advise how to fix this? All i want is to change password
