'Nan-Nan' has many meanings and no translation is right or wrong. "What is that?" or "What the hell are you doing?" or "What do you mean?" or "Oh, for heaven's sake!" and "You've got to be kidding me." It is a very casual and interesting dialect from Okayama Prefecture, where Fujii Kaze is from.

Japanese is very different from English so some of Japanese words are not always equal toEnglish word. “Nan Nan” is a dialect of “Nan nano” which means “What is that” but this word will be translated in English and it has several meanings in it. It is like “Excuse me” in English. if you use this words in different situation, the meaning will change right? Like that some words have several meanings. Btw Kirari which is his debut song is very good👍
nan-nan itself fundamentally means "what is it." But as you see when said with a sharp look in one's eyes and when said with a laugh, the meaning is completely different. He comes from a place that is very close to the Kansai dialect, in the standard language it is “Nan-Nano?” and his Okayama dialects/Kansai dialects sound more comic and fun nuance. Hope that helps.
