I start to listen to VAJ loog tsua back in 2012
cool story! I thought he was just a good vocalist overseas pimped by someone with connections but his hmonglish is evident hes well traveled and adapted. kudos!

His CD came out during a time that all type of hmoob nplog wanted to be famous and every body was a singer. His first few albums were lost in that midst. I actually found his very first albums in the 3$ per CD pile at the tornament in MN. This was back in the early 2000’s.

The real life events that inspired the song was not his lived experience but that of another man. They then both contributed to the song and ended up with two slightly different versions but only his took off.

The problem with America is we are consumers. So doing any buisiness can be built here. But in Laos and Thailand, they are the investors so it’s hard to gain on consumers there because it’s cheaper, one day you will reach your dream brother. Thanks for coming to America and stay for awhile.
