3 Reasons Why The Mahabharata is LESS readable than the Game of Thrones

The most important trait a storyteller can cultivate is the art of not giving away the story too easily.
A reader will only persist with a story if they (a) see themselves depicted in that story and (b) cannot know the ending without reading the whole story.
In this video, I analyzed The Mahabharata and identified three stylistic choices which made it less readable than the Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.
1. Absence of small characters
2. Names which foreshadow characters
3. Whose side is God on?
