Chemistry experiment: diffusion of hydrogen chloride (HCl) and ammonia (NH3) gases through air to form ammonium chloride smoke (NH4Cl).

We use computer simulation of atoms and molecules movements (molecular dynamics) to visualize what is happening inside on the molecular level.

it just should be reasonably high, but the best effect is for the concentrated solutions (like 30% HCl and 25% NH3)

Please don't say "ammonia chloride". It's ammonium chloride. And there's no "molecule" of ammonia chloride. There are two ions (NH4+ and Cl-) joined by an ionic bond, the attraction of opposite charges.

Yes. Smoke is a colloidal mixture of solid in a gas medium while gas is a phase of matter.

Ammonia and hydrogen chloride are dangerous if you inhale them, but ammonium chloride (the smoke) is not. Both have very strong odors though, so if you're breathing them in in any amount you will definitely feel it well before it becomes a hazard.
