The character here is Ambessa in her younger years, most of the vid is symbolic and related to her beliefs and understanding of death. Multiple characters represent death here (The wolf, the warrior she is fighting, and the masked being in the cave named Kindred, who is the Grim Reaper of this universe), she is literally fighting against the death itself to earn a second chance at living by battling with the warrior who is assessing whether she is worthy or not. The lamb represents her previous life she clutched onto but has to let go of in order to reach her destiny and lets the lamb shatter. After the warrior is satisfied with her fierceness, Kindred (the masked being) allows her to continue living, which is represented by the wolf leaving her body alone.
In the end, she became one with the wolf (death). But, since she was pregnant and it was not the time for the baby to die, so she got back to life to take care of her. The baby is Mel, another character of the Arcane Series.
In the League of Legends lore there is a being called kindred that was split in 2. he is the embodiment of death. The lamb promises a swift gentle death and when you see her she will shoot you with an arrow. if you resist the peaceful death then the wolf half comes to tear the life from you. You see this is the Still Here trailer/short. In this you see the wolf come for her and she holds the lamb instead. its metaphorical but the idea is the same. she has to give up the peaceful death and embrace the fight to live. I think her people dedicate themselves to the wolf so maybe its presented different than Still Here since she has a different relationship with him. There is a lot of great lore and depth to the work they do for League of Legends... plus they really love good music in their shorts. they are all epic with great music.
The "gamified" part of League of Legends, where you defend towers and fight minions is just an Arena where 5 legends (champions) fight each other. There is not any deep meaning of history in the game. But this clip primarily serves as a backstory for Ambessa, which appears in the League of Legends' Netflix series Arcane.
The clip is both literal and metaphorical. The character is Ambessa, will be a playable character in League soon. In the clip she is pregnant. The wolf represents one of the two facets of death in the League of Legends' Universe. The other one is the lamb.
The singer is named Sheryl Lee Ralph and despite being 67 she did a knockout performance. I seriously hope her song gets nominated for an award, I am so thoroughly impressed.

The lamb represents her part and her innocence also the “lamb and the wolf” since her culture warships the wolf
In the end, she became one with the wolf (death). But, since she was pregnant and it was not the time for the baby to die, so she got back to life to take care of her. The baby is Mel, another character of the Arcane Series.

But I do like that LoL is starting to flesh out characters now. So many Champions with back stories that make for some awesome series.

@revendax2584 There's a very good reason Riot hired a Broadway actress to sing this song
