Nah. These guys do not get how these algorithms work. They do not understand that they give you what you want and if you want to see how bad everything is because you feel bad, well you are going to get it. If you were shown the opposite you would feel annoyed because your self-confirmation bias isn't getting tickled and so you stop using them. I literally use it like that. I set out what I want to see before I open up TikTok and after a couple swipes I will get content just about that. So what we really need to do is tell and explain how to use these tools but not say they are bad because they do x and y. No, they do exactly what you want them to do. Same with AI. AI has no interest. That is simply not what these models are. They are just a cloud of relationships and concepts and it will give you what you want. If you think it is scheming it will give you things that look like it but it has no mind of its own, same as the scroll algorithm.
