Sometimes when I feel like my highlight looks very powdery or textured I take my beauty blender and spritz a little fix+ on and pounce it over my highlight area and it will look more natural and blended hope this helps btw I love you your such an amazing person you truly are an inspiration to me to just be my self and screw what other people think or say I have alway struggled with self esteem issues and watching your videos as help me get through some of my darkest days love you and thank you honestly from the bottom of my hear 💞💞

I find that the travel sized better than sex mascara is less chunky and messy than the full sized. Smaller brush and less product on the brush. I only buy the travel size one now!

Does anyone have any tips on how to help foundation not look as cakey? No matter what I do, it looks like I'm wearing a lot of foundation, even on days where I just wear bb cream and a setting powder
+Eden Everly I completely agree with this! Also, if you're looking to try a new foundation, MAC face and body is water based and never looks cakey. It has super buildable coverage, yet doesn't get cakey. It doesn't even look like you're wearing foundation. That plus lots of moisturizier before is key, but make sure you allow the moisturizer to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before applying your makeup. ALSO, I especially also agree that primer is completely unnecessary. Honestly, I find that sometimes it actually contributes to the cakiness. Good luck!
What foundation do you use? Maybe MIX your moisturizer with your foundation. It'll allow you to use less foundation and create a more clear sheer finish :)

jacyln, i love you and your videos and i've been watching them for a while now, and all the looks are so pretty and flawless, but i feel like you do the same thing over and over again. not like you do the same eye look or something, but i feel like the only thing you ever really do a tutorial on is eye looks. i mean they're freaking amazing looks, but thats all you seem to do. i'd really love it if you could spice things up... nothing major though. just maybe like a powder foundation tutorial, or how to contour different face shapes, or even how to shape your brows. i know that if you do the new videos they'll be amazing because all your videos are. but please don't take this the wrong way or anything because i love you and your videos.

Not to mention, mascara alone just looks like a mess in comparison. I don't mind spending 4 minutes on lashes and being thrilled with the results rather than with mascara thinking, "yeah, I *guess* that looks good enough". I have long, full lashes naturally - It doesn't matter.

I've written some mean comments to you in the past and with some self reflection I realized that it had everything to do with my state of mind and not the things I perceived as slights from you. I feel awful looking back knowing that a second of feeling triumphant may have really affected and hurt you. It's never worth it. Does anyone have any tips on how to help foundation not look as cakey? No matter what I do, it looks like I'm wearing a lot of foundation, even on days where I just wear bb cream and a setting powder

Use a beauty blender to apply. Might help with cakey-ness
You have to care your skin really good :), if your skin is a crap, your face makeup will be always bad :)
+Eden Everly I completely agree with this! Also, if you're looking to try a new foundation, MAC face and body is water based and never looks cakey. It has super buildable coverage, yet doesn't get cakey. It doesn't even look like you're wearing foundation. That plus lots of moisturizier before is key, but make sure you allow the moisturizer to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before applying your makeup. ALSO, I especially also agree that primer is completely unnecessary. Honestly, I find that sometimes it actually contributes to the cakiness. Good luck!
What foundation do you use? Maybe MIX your moisturizer with your foundation. It'll allow you to use less foundation and create a more clear sheer finish :)
